Menopause is a natural phase A that most women experience, typically around the age you’re in. Given that you’ve had an absence of periods for nearly ten months along with symptoms such as bloating, mood swings, and total body pain, these can all be associated with menopause. It’s usually marked by a year-long cessation of menstruation. So in terms of ovarall symptoms, this is quite common, although not without discomfort.
To help balance your transition, Ayurvedic practices can be quite benefical. Bloating and digestive symptoms menopausal women often face can be linked to Agni, or digestive fire. Strengthening Agni is paramount. Try sipping on warm ginger and lemon tea throughout the day – ginger helps stimulate digestion and alleviate bloating. Yoga and simple breathing exercises may also aid in alleviating emotional ups and downs mood swings which you’re facing. Pranayama (breathing techniques) can be quiet effective.
Concerning overall body pain, incorporating Ashwagandha as a supplement could be useful. Ashwagandha is renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties and it can help balance Vata dosha, potentially alleviating joint and overall body pain.
In the context of diet, favor warm, cooked meals that are easy to digest. Avoid cold and raw foods as much as possible, which might disrupt digestion further. Including a teaspoon of ghee in your daily diet can also be nourishing for the body tissues and help balance the doshas.
While Ayurveda offers supportive measures, it’s crucial to look consult a gynecologist to rule out other underlying conditions. Consider any troubling or intensifying symptoms that might require professional attention.
