Understanding your skin condition is important, especially with sensitive skin and persistent pimles. Considering that you’ve been dealing with this since a young age, an Ayurvedic perspective can provide some insights while considering your history of sensitive reactions.
Your description of recurring pimples, particularly the green color, suggests there’s presence of pus, indicating an underlying Pitta imbalance, which is responsible for inflammation, leading to such skin conditions. Sensitive skin, in Ayurveda, may relate to unstable Vata and imbalanced Pitta.
First step, consult a dermatologist to rule out possible infections or conditions that could require medical attention. It’s crucial not to delay, given the green color and chronic nature of your pimples.
From an ayurvedic angle, dietary and lifestyle modifications could assist in reducing recurring breakouts. Begin with a Pitta-pacifying diet, as Pitta is often behind inflammation. Favor cooling foods like cucumber, coriander, and coconut water. Reduce spicy, oily and fried foods, which can aggravate Pitta. Include whole grains and healthy fats like ghee, which is soothing for Pitta.
Apply natural remedies with caution. Use turmeric mixed with honey and apply it gently on the affected area. Turmeric is renowned in Ayurveda for its anti-inflammatory properties. But first, do a small patch test to ensure no adverse reaction.
Stress can exacerbate skin issues, and you mentioned your skin reacts quickly. Implement mindfulness practices like meditation or yoga to stabilize Vata and calm Pitta. Ensure you have a regular routine for sleep, as disruptions can lead to skin aggravations.
Avoid using harsh chemicals or exfoliants, they could irritate sensitive skin. Opt for a simple, natural cleanser, such as ones containing Neem that has antimicrobial properties. Always apply sunblock suitable for sensitive skin to prevent marks from sun damage.
In your situation, personalized consultation with a healthcare provider or an Ayurvedic practitioner is recommended. They’d consider your Prakriti (constitution) and lifestyle more comprehensively to assist with detailed, specific recommendations.
