Doctors' responses

Hello I get that you’re worried about PCOD and really want to get pregnant. It’s super common these days, but the good news is a lot of women with PCOD do get pregnant naturally once their hormones are balanced.

With the right Ayurvedic plan, you can totally get this under control.

YOUR SITUATION: You found out you have –PCOD less than a year ago. –Your periods are all over the place. –You’re trying to get pregnant. You’re wondering: –Can syrup help you get pregnant? –Does it make PCOD go away? –How long do you need to take it, and how many bottles?

WHAT’S CAUSING IT (Ayurveda’s Take):

Ayurveda says PCOD happens because: –Your Kapha and Vata energies are out of whack. –Your Agni (digestion and metabolism) is weak. –You have a buildup of toxins called Aama. –Your Artava dhatu (which handles ovulation) isn’t working right.

This leads to: –Follicles not bursting like they should. –Ovulation being irregular. –Late periods. –Trouble getting pregnant.

Good news: PCOD isn’t a permanent thing, it’s something that can be fixed.

ABOUT SYRUPS FOR PCOD AND PREGNANCY:

Lots of Ayurvedic syrups can help with PCOD, but no single syrup will cure it completely or guarantee you’ll get pregnant. Some popular and effective syrups are: –Ashokarishta –Dashmoolarishta –Kumaryasava

These work by: –Getting your periods back on track. –Making your uterus healthier. –Helping with ovulation. How long should you take them? Usually 3-6 months straight. –That means about 3-6 bottles, depending on the dose. You’ll see changes gradually, not overnight. –Just a heads up: Don’t mess with or mix syrups without asking a professional first.

THE FULL AYURVEDIC PLAN (SUPER IMPORTANT):

INTERNAL MEDICATION 1.Ashokarishta: 10 ml with equal water, twice a day after meals.

2.Chandraprabha Vati: 1 tablet twice a day after food. Good for cysts, hormones, and ovulation.

3.Shatapushpa Churna (Dill seeds powder): ½ tsp with warm water first thing in the morning.

Do this for at least 3 months.

SEED CYCLING for Hormone Balance (Try it for 3-6 months!)

Seed cycling helps balance your estrogen and progesterone. Do it regularly for 3-6 months to see the best results with ovulation.

Phase 1: Follicular Phase (Days 1-14, starting on the first day of your period)

Seeds: * 1 tbsp powdered flax seeds * 1 tbsp powdered pumpkin seeds Why these seeds? (Ayurveda says): * They help your body make Artava (that’s the reproductive tissue) * They can lower Kapha and Meda (certain body types/qualities) * They make your body more sensitive to insulin.

How to eat them: * Mix with warm water, put them in your oatmeal, smoothie, or sprinkle on fruit.

Phase 2: Luteal Phase (Days 15-28)

Seeds: * 1 tbsp powdered sesame seeds * 1 tbsp powdered sunflower seeds Why these seeds? * They nourish Artava * They help your progesterone levels * They calm Vata (another body type/quality) and help regulate your period. Quick tip: As your periods are irregualar start from 1 st day of period and then on 14 day take phase 2 seeds

PANCHAKARMA for PCOD (Best done with an Ayurvedic doctor!)

This detox plan is really best if you do it with an Ayurvedic doctor guiding you.

Phase 1: Deepana–Pachana (7 days) Goal: Improve your digestion (Agni) and clear out toxins (Ama) What you do: * Take Trikatu churna or Panchakola churna * Sip warm water * Eat light foods that reduce Kapha

Phase 2: Shodhana Therapy (The Main Treatment)

Vamana (for some people) –Good if you have PCOD with extra weight, a lot of Kapha, acne, or insulin resistance. –It helps clear out Kapha and Meda from the root.

Virechana (most PCOD patients) –This is generally the best for hormone problems and when Pitta-Kapha are out of whack. –It helps with ovulation and makes periods more regular.

Phase 3: Basti Therapy (Super important!)

Yoga Basti / Kala Basti –This uses both Anuvasana (oil) and Niruha (herbal) enemas. – It helps Apana Vata flow better, which is key for ovulation and periods.

Uttara Basti – This treatment works directly on the uterus and ovaries. – It’s great for long-term PCOD and struggling with fertility.

DIET FOR PCOD AND GETTING PREGNANT:

✅INCLUDE Warm, homemade food Green veggies Moong dal Fruits (like papaya, pomegranate) Sesame seeds, peanuts

❌AVOID Junk food Bakery stuff Cold drinks Too much sugar Eating late at night

LIFESTYLE TIPS:

Walk briskly for 30-40 minutes every day. Go to bed before 11 pm. Cut down on stress (this is huge for ovulation). Don’t use your phone late at night.

WHEN YOU MIGHT SEE RESULTS:

Periods getting better: 1-2 months Ovulation improving: 2-3 months Possible to get pregnant: within 3-6 months (if there are no other issues)

IMPORTANT STUFF:

Having PCOD doesn’t mean you can’t have babies. Many women get pregnant naturally with a bit of discipline. Being consistent is more important than how much medicine you take.

Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

IN PCOD THE MAIN REASON FOR DIFFICULTY IN CONCEIVING IS IRREGULAR OVULATION HORMONAL IMBALANCE AND POOR QUALITY OF EGG RELEASE SO ANY SYRUP OR MEDICINE WILL HELP ONLY IF IT IS CORRECTING OVULATION AND REGULATING THE CYCLE NOT JUST MAKING PERIODS COME

IF YOU ARE ASKING WHETHER A SINGLE SYRUP CAN HELP YOU CONCEIVE THEN THE HONEST ANSWER IS NO ONE MEDICINE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH IN PCOD CASES PCOD NEEDS A COMBINATION OF CYCLE REGULATION OVULATION SUPPORT DIET CORRECTION AND LIFESTYLE DISCIPLINE

ASHOKARISHTA TWO TEASPOONS TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD LODHRASAVA TWO TEASPOONS TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD SHATAVARI SYRUP TWO TEASPOONS TWICE DAILY WITH MILK KANCHNAR GUGGUL TWO TABLETS TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD

PCOD DOES NOT CORRECT IN ONE OR TWO MONTHS MINIMUM THREE MONTHS OF REGULAR MEDICINE AND ROUTINE IS REQUIRED MOST WOMEN SEE CYCLE REGULARITY IN TWO TO THREE MONTHS CONCEPTION USUALLY BECOMES POSSIBLE BETWEEN THREE TO SIX MONTHS IF OVULATION STARTS PROPERLY

IF PERIODS ARE COMING BUT OVULATION IS NOT HAPPENING PREGNANCY WILL NOT OCCUR SO FOLLICULAR STUDY OR OVULATION TRACKING IS ADVISED

AVOID SUGAR BAKERY ITEMS MAIDA COLD DRINKS FRIED FOOD EAT SIMPLE HOME FOOD VEGETABLES DAL RICE ROTI DO NOT SKIP MEALS WALK DAILY FOR THIRTY TO FORTY FIVE MINUTES SLEEP BEFORE ELEVEN PM

The syrup you are taking (likely Kumaryasava or similar) is good for PCOD , it helps regulate periods, reduce cyst inflammation & improve ovulation. But one syrup alone rarely leads to conception in PCOD , need full hormonal balance + ovulation support.

Continue current syrup minimum 3–6 months (safe long-term) – periods regularize in 2–4 cycles.

Best Combination for Faster Conception 1 Continue your current syrup (e.g., 1 Kumaryasava) – 15–20 ml + water after meals 2 Kanchanar Guggulu – 2 tablets morning + night after food (shrinks cysts) 3 Shatavari Kalpa – 10 gm night with warm milk (improves egg quality & lining) 4 Ashoka Ghrita OR Phala Ghrita – 10 gm morning empty stomach with warm milk (supports ovulation) 5 Raja Pravartini Vati – 2 tablets twice daily → only Day 5–15 of cycle (helps periods & ovulation)

Diet Give daily: pomegranate, beetroot juice 100 ml, moong khichdi + ghee, soaked almonds 4 + dates 2 Avoid completely: sugar, maida, dairy after noon, junk food

Lifestyle 30–45 min brisk walk daily Sleep 10 PM – 6 AM strictly Reduce stress: Anulom-Vilom 10 min daily

Your current syrup is helpful – add Kanchanar + Shatavari for better & faster results. Continue 6 months – baby will come soon, stay positive!

The syrup you mentioned doesn’t have name or Ingredients, so difficult to comment. Knowing your problem, can start with Tablet M2TONE 1-0-1 after food with water, will help balance your Kanchanar guggul 1-0-1 after food with water, will reduce Pcod . hormones and improve the health of uterus. Phalgrith 2tsp twice daily before food with warm milk, will improve your fertility, increase the chances for conception.

HELLO,

You are experiencing -irregular periods -difficulty in conceiving

These symptoms are often interlinked and stem from an underlying hormonal imbalance. In modern medicine, this often points toward PCOS(polycystic ovarian syndrome)

In Ayurveda , this condition is mostly due to kapha vata imbalance, weak digestive fire and toxin accumulation
