🧠 Why They Persist - Conditioning through repetition: Masturbating to the same type of pornography or fantasy reinforces those pathways in your brain. - Stress and anxiety: Fantasies can become a coping mechanism, even if they cause guilt afterward. - Suppression paradox: Trying to “force them away” often makes them stronger. The brain resists suppression.

🛠️ Gentle, Practical Steps Here are strategies that can help reduce the intensity of these fantasies over time:

Professional therapy: - A sex therapist or psychologist can help you reframe and redirect intrusive sexual thoughts. - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is especially effective for intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.

Mindful awareness instead of suppression: - When a fantasy arises, notice it without judgment (“this is just a thought, not me”). - Redirect your focus to something grounding—breathing, a mantra, or a physical activity.

- Limit isolation triggers - Since fantasies arise when you’re alone, structure your time with more social, creative, or physical activities. - Journaling or exercise can help redirect energy.

Dr. Sara Garg
I am someone who believes Ayurveda isn’t just some old system — it’s alive, and actually still works when you use it the way it's meant to be used. My practice mostly revolves around proper Ayurvedic diagnosis (rogi & roga pariksha types), Panchakarma therapies, and ya also a lot of work with herbal medicine — not just prescribing but sometimes preparing stuff myself when needed. I really like that hands-on part actually, like knowing where the herbs came from and how they're processed... changes everything. One of the things I pay a lot of attention to is how a person's lifestyle is playing into their condition. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.

Shatavari Churna 👉 3 g morning + evening with milk

3. Nervous System Strength Saraswatarishta 👉 15 ml twice daily after meals with equal water 4. If urges become uncontrollable

Diet Avoid: spicy, fried, onion, garlic, non-veg at night Prefer: milk, ghee (small amount), fruits, soaked almonds (5)

⚠️ Important Truth You are NOT mentally ill. This is Rajo-guna dominance + habit loop. Ayurveda + discipline can reduce fantasies, but complete recovery requires patience (3–6 months). If at any point you feel hopeless or unsafe, please seek immediate help from a mental-health professional alongside Ayurveda.

Hello I’m really glad you reached out and spoke so openly. What you’re going through sounds really tough, but it doesn’t mean you’re broken, mentally ill, or beyond help. A lot of people struggle with unwanted sexual fantasies. The pain usually comes from the clash between those thoughts and your own values, love, and sense of who you are—not the fantasies themselves.

Let’s get this straight: –You are not a bad person. –You’re not perverted. –You’re not doomed. –You’re definitely not alone. –And this can get better.

You’re a 24-year-old guy with self-awareness, remorse, strong values, and a lot of love in you. That says a lot about your core—there’s nothing wrong with who you really are.

So, what’s actually going on here?

–This isn’t about real-life desire for someone else. –What you’re describing fits with compulsive sexual fantasies that are tangled up with anxiety, shame, and old habits. –You see this a lot with things like sexual OCD, compulsive sexual behavior, or just anxiety that keeps looping these thoughts.

Some signs:

–These fantasies only show up when you’re masturbating. Afterward, you feel disturbed, ashamed, or guilty. –You don’t want these fantasies to come true. –They clash with your values and love for others. –And the harder you try to push them away, the louder they come back.

That means these fantasies aren’t your true desires—they’re mental habits, not your identity.

Why do they feel so powerful?

–Porn and masturbation can train your brain to chase whatever’s new or taboo. –Dopamine spikes and suddenly your brain thinks shock equals arousal. –Content gets more extreme. – Arousal gets tied up with fear and shame. – This is how your brain rewires itself—it’s about neuroplasticity, not some kind of personal failure.

And here’s the kicker: –fighting or trying to erase the thoughts just makes them come back stronger. –Things like forcing yourself not to think, checking if you’re “normal,” seeking constant reassurance, extreme suppression, or beating yourself up—none of that helps. – In fact, it teaches your brain that these thoughts are dangerous, so they just keep showing up.

What actually works (and yeah, there’s real evidence for this):

1) Stop judging the thought—start labeling it.

Instead of asking, “Why am I like this?” try, “This is just an intrusive fantasy. It doesn’t define me.” Don’t argue with it, don’t punish yourself, just notice it and let it pass.

2) Separate the fantasy-arousal loop from real intimacy.

–Right now, your brain links masturbation with fantasy. You need to break that link—not shame yourself for it, just reset. –Try cutting back on masturbation (no need to quit cold turkey), and when you do, don’t fantasize. –Focus on your body, your breath, what you’re actually feeling. This helps retrain your arousal to exist in the present, not in fantasy.

3) Quit porn for good (you’ve tried before, but this really matters).

–Porn keeps the loop going, even after long breaks. When urges hit: take a cold shower, go for a walk, do some pushups, or just wait 10 minutes. –Urges rise and fall like waves—they always pass.

4) You need professional help—and that’s a sign of strength, not weakness.

–Seriously, talk to a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. Ask about sexual OCD or intrusive sexual thoughts. Therapy like CBT and ERP actually works. Sometimes even a low-dose SSRI can make a huge difference with these intrusive fantasies. – This is medical, not moral. Plenty of people get much better within weeks or months when they get the right help.

About your relationship:

–Right now, your nervous system is on high alert. –Don’t bring up these fantasies with your partner again while you’re healing. – Focus on emotional safety, non-sexual closeness, and rebuilding trust with yourself first. –You can absolutely have a healthy, loving sex life—but your mind needs to calm down a bit first.

About what you said: “Otherwise I’ll die.”

–That tells me you’re in a lot of pain—not that you actually want to die—but I take it seriously. –If you ever feel like you might hurt yourself, or things just feel hopeless, please reach out right away: talk to someone you trust, a mental health professional, or a crisis line in your country. – You deserve support. You don’t have to carry this alone.

One last thing I really want you to remember:

–Thoughts aren’t desires. –Fantasies aren’t your identity. –Arousal isn’t your values. –You’re not your thoughts. You’re a man who wants love, stability, and real intimacy—and that’s totally possible.

You’re not broken. You’re just overwhelmed right now—and that can be fixed.

Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Hello

Truly appreciate that you spoke frankly about your condition and also you have a strong desire to change it. Yes you will get good results as you are ready to change.

It is not simple to just say and quit everything. It is a slow process. Remember these thoughts will come back in your mind but what is important is acknowledging them and than changing your thinking. Change of thoughts will only be possible when you get yourself into some kind of physical activity like cycling, swimming, running…

Think Stop Run… This is the key to get rid of the thoughts.

🧘‍♀️ Anulomvilom and Bhramari Pranayam will help. But you have to do it early in the morning only.

❌ Donot get yourself into any addictions.

❌ Donot drink tea or coffee or aerated drinks.

❌ Reduce screen time… No screen in darkness and 1 hour before you sleep. Consume audio form of data rather than visuals before you sleep. Filter the content of data you consume…

✔️ Drink a glass of buffalo milk daily before you sleep; it will help you get a sound sleep.

✔️ 100 steps after both meals are must.

✔️ Eat only home cooked food… Avoid outside food, packed and processed food.

✔️ Prefer natural liquids like fruit juice, coconut water, lemon juice, kokum sharbat over packed ones.

💊 Medication: 💊

Panchendriya Vardhan Tailam 2 drops in each nostril early in the morning empty stomach.

Cap. Memorin(S.G.Phytopharma) 2 caps twice a day before food.

Syp. Prasham 4 tsp at bed time with lukewarm water. Tab. Manasmitra Vatak 2 tabs at bed time.

Dear patient, First of all, what you’re going through is truly painful and emotionally exhausting — and you are not alone in this. Many people develop repeated sexual fantasies due to overexposure to pornography + anxiety + habit formation in the brain, and it does NOT mean you are mentally ill or a bad person.

✅ The good news: this is treatable. But honestly, medicine alone cannot solve it. Along with Ayurvedic medicines you must do:

Digital detox

Complete porn avoidance

Routine & physical activity

Mind training (meditation/yoga)

Porn rewires the reward system of the brain, so the mind starts needing “stronger novelty” to feel excitement. The solution is gradual rewiring, not shame.

🌿 Ayurvedic Prescription

3) Brahma Rasayan

Dose: 3 gm OD Timing: morning (empty stomach) or after breakfast → strengthens nervous system, improves memory & mental stability

4) Shatavari Churna

Dose: 3 gm OD (at night) How to take: with warm milk → nourishes body, supports hormones, calms irritability

Balasana

Shavasana (must)

🌿 Home Remedies

✅ Ashwagandha milk (optional if anxiety/stress high)

Ashwagandha powder 2–3 gm + warm milk at night (only if no acidity issue)

✅ Nutmeg (Jaiphal)

a pinch in milk at bedtime (only small amount) → helps sleep, reduces hyperactive thoughts

✅ Warm oil massage

apply Brahmi oil / sesame oil on scalp 10–15 min before bath (3–4 times/week)

📵 Digital Detox & Habit Reset (MOST IMPORTANT)

✅ Follow this like treatment:

No porn at all

✅ Engage in activities:

gym / sports / running

social interaction + family time

I am really glad you reached out and spoke honestly because what you are experiencing is deeply distressing and it deserves care not shame First I want to say you are not mentally ill and you are not broken

You are a young man with a sensitive mind who developed a compulsive fantasy pattern that has attached itself to sexual arousal and fear of loss

These fantasies do not define who you are They are not your true desire for life or love They are learned mental loops that get stronger when anxiety loneliness guilt and sexual arousal mix together

When you are calm connected emotionally and feeling secure you feel normal attraction and love When you are alone stressed anxious or sexually stimulated the mind goes into an old conditioned pathway because the brain has learned to associate arousal with a specific fantasy

Trying to fight it forcefully suppressing it or hating yourself makes it stronger…

That is why stopping porn, meditation ,lifestyle changes alone did not help.

The root is anxiety ,attachment ,fear of losing her and a hyperactive imagination during arousal.

This is treatable

From an ayurvedic perspective the nervous system needs grounding strengthening and emotional safety

Ashwagandha capsule one capsule morning and one at night with warm milk This reduces anxiety fear and sexual compulsivity

Brahmi capsule one capsule after lunch

Jatamansi capsule at night after dinner This is important for intrusive thoughts and emotional disturbance

Avoid all pornography not by force but by replacing the habit.

When sexual urge comes immediately shift the body walk, splash cold water on face, do 10 slow exhalations or talk to someone. Do not stay alone with the urge.

Daily oil massage to feet and lower abdomen with warm sesame oil before sleep Sleep before 11 pm Avoid stimulants like excessive caffeine

You need to work with a qualified mental health professional preferably a psychiatrist or sex therapist. This is not a failure. This is the fastest and safest way to heal. Cognitive therapy sometimes combined with short term medication can break this loop effectively.

If at any point you feel like you might harm yourself or feel that you cannot cope you must seek immediate help from a local doctor emergency service or a trusted person around you. Your life is valuable.

You love your partner and you want a healthy bond. That itself proves your core desire is normal intimacy not these fantasies.

With proper support patience and treatment you can absolutely return to a healthy sexual life You are not alone and you are not beyond help.

Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh
I am Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh, born and raised in Punjab where culture and traditions almost naturally guided me toward Ayurveda. From very early days I felt more drawn to natural ways of healing, and this curiosity finally led me to pursue Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh—an institution known for shaping strong Ayurvedic physicians. During those years I learned not only the classical texts and treatment methods, but also how to look at health through a very practical, human lense. For the past five years I worked in clinical practice, where patients come with wide range of concerns—from chronic digestion troubles to autoimmune illness—and I try to integrate both Ayurveda and modern medical knowledge to give them the most complete care I can. Sometimes western diagnostics help me to understand the stage of disease, while Ayurveda helps me design treatment that address root cause. This bridging approach is not always easy, but I believe it’s necessary for today’s health challanges. Currently I am also pursuing higher studies in Panchakarma therapy. Panchakarma is an area I feel very strongly about—it is not just detox, it is a whole system of cleansing, rejuvenation, rebalancing, and I want to deepen my expertise here. In practice, I combine Panchakarma with lifestyle guidance, diet planning, herbal remedies, yoga and mindfulness practices depending on what a patient actually needs at that moment. No two cases are same, and Ayurveda reminds me daily that healing must be personal. My approach is always focused on root-cause management rather than temporary relief. Diet, herbs, therapeutic oils, meditation routines, and simple daily habits—they all work together when chosen rightly. Sometimes results come slow, sometimes faster, but I try to keep care sustainable and compassionate. Helping someone regain energy, sleep better, or reduce pain, that is the real achievement in my journey. And I continue learning, because Ayurveda is deep, it doesn’t finish with one degree or one training, it grow with every patient and every experiance. My specialties lie in treating a range of chronic and lifestyle-related conditions using Ayurveda’s time-tested principles, tailored to each individual’s unique constitution (Prakriti). I have significant expertise in managing digestive disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux, constipation, diabetes, obesity and inflammatory bowel diseases. I also specialize in addressing stress-related and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, and burnout, which are increasingly common in today’s fast-paced world. By integrating therapies like Shirodhara (oil pouring on the forehead) to calm the nervous system, Abhyanga (herbal oil massages) to balance Vata dosha, and adaptogenic herbs like Ashwagandha and Brahmi, I help patients achieve mental clarity and emotional resilience. In the field of musculoskeletal and joint health, I excel in treating conditions like arthritis (rheumatoid and osteoarthritis), back pain, sciatica, and sports injuries. Using therapies such as Kati Basti (localized oil retention on the lower back) and potent anti-inflammatory herbs like Guggulu and Shallaki, I focus on reducing inflammation, improving joint mobility, and strengthening tissues. My treatments have helped many patients, particularly those seeking non-invasive alternatives, regain mobility and reduce pain through a blend of internal medications and external therapies. Skin disorders are another key area of my practice, where I address conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and pigmentation issues holistically. By focusing on blood purification and balancing Pitta dosha and detoxifying Panchakarma techniques like Raktamokshana (bloodletting). My approach targets dietary and lifestyle triggers, offering sustainable results for clients who previously relied on temporary solutions like topical steroids. My dual expertise in Ayurveda and modern medicine allows me to create integrative treatment plans that are both effective and safe. I am deeply committed to patient education, empowering individuals to embrace Ayurvedic principles for sustainable health. Through this online platform, I am excited to offer virtual consultations, making the profound benefits of Ayurveda accessible to all. Whether you seek relief from a specific condition or aim to enhance overall vitality, I look forward to guiding you on your journey to balance and well-being with compassion and expertise.

First, take a deep breath. You are not mentally ill. You are suffering from Confusion of Mind caused by deep-seated Samskaras (Mental Impressions). The pornography you watched created a neural highway in your brain. Now, your brain creates dopamine (pleasure chemical) only when it travels that specific road. It is a Habit Loop, not your true personality. You can rewire it, but it needs chemical support because willpower alone failed you.

Ayurvedic Prescription (To Reset the Brain) Manasamitra Vatakam: 1 tablet twice daily (Morning & Night).

Sarpagandha Ghan Vati: 1 tablet at night.

Nasya (The Brain Reset): Put 2 drops of Cow Ghee (warm) in each nostril every morning.

Psychological Strategy (Sattva Vavajaya) The “Stop” Technique: The moment the fantasy enters your mind, do not fight it. Instead, physically shock your system. Splash Ice Cold Water on your face or hold your breath for 30 seconds. This breaks the electrical circuit of the thought immediately.

Rewiring Intimacy: When you are with your partner, focus on Touch (Sparsha), not Visuals. Close your eyes. Force your brain to feel the skin, warmth, and breath. You must retrain your brain to find pleasure in reality, not pixels.

Medical Alert: Since you mentioned I’ll die, please understand this is a chemical imbalance that WILL pass. However, if you feel suicidal, you must visit a psychiatrist immediately for support alongside these Ayurvedic medicines. You can recover from this.

HELLO,

WHAY YOU ARE EXPERIENCING IS NOT YOUR TRUE DESIRE

You have two different mental states

1) NORMAL STATE -you love your partner -you want normal, exclusive intimacy -you feel disturbed by third person fantasies

2) AROUSAL-TRIGGERED STATE -when alone, especially during masturbation -the mind jumps to extreme sexual imagery -fantasies escalate -afterwards-> guild, fear, self hatred

This means the fantasty is not your personality It is conditioned mental reflex

Ayurveda does not label this as perversion

Mental imbalance with disturbance of -chanels of mind -sexual energy -nervous system

WHICH DOSHA ARE DISTURBED?

1) VATA (main problem) CAUSES -loss of control -Intrusive thoughts -repetition of unwanted ideas -anxiety and fear

2) RAJAS (over-stimulation) CAUSES -hypersexual imagination -restlessness -mental agitation

3) TAMAS (compulsion and guilt) CAUSES -repetitive behaviour -shame -feeling “I am bad” This combination creates compulsive sexual fantasy, not health desire

WHY THIS STARTED AND WHY IT CONTINUED

WHY IT STARTED AT 18 -high shukra dhatu activity (young age) -first exposure to novelty fantasy -brain linked arousal + novelty + dopamine

WHY IT CONTINUED EVEN AFTER STOPPING PORN -The neural pattern is already formed -Mind learned : “Arousal = extreme imagery” -This does NOT disappear just by willpower

That’s why -meditation alone didn’t work -lifestyle alone didn’t work -suppresiion didn’t work

This needs systematic treatment , not self blame

TREATMENT GOALS -stabilize the nervous system -reduce intrusive sexual imagery -normalize shukra Dhatus -shift arousal back to partner-based intimacy -remove guilt and fear from mind

This is gradual re-training not instant cure

INTERNALLY

A) MIND CALMING MEDIICNES

1) BRAHMI CAPSULES= 500mg cap in morning with warm water =reduces intrusive thoughts, improves mental control, calms mental channels

2) SHANKHAPUSHPI SYRUP = 10 ml in afternoon =reduces obsession, stops repetitive sexual imagery, pacifies rajas

B) NERVOUS SYSTEM STABILIZERS

3) JATAMANSI CAPSULE= 1cap at night =breaks compulsive mental loops, excellent for sexual OCD -like thoughts

4) ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk at night = grounds vata, normalize libido, improves confidence

DURATION OF INTERNAL MEDICATIONS Minimum= 3 months Ideal= 6-9 months Mental patterns need time, not force

DIET -rice, wheat, oats -mong dal -milk warm -ghee 1-2 tsp daily -pumpkin, bottle gourd, carrot -dates, soaked almonds 4-5

AVOID -onion, garlic -eggs,red meat -alcohol, caffiene -spic, oily, junk food -excess sugar -night eating These increase rajas and sexual agitation

SPECIAL HOME REMEDY -warm milk + 1/2 tsp nutmeg at night =reduces sexual over stimulation, calms mind, improves sleep

AVOID -excessive meditation -intense kundalini practices -froceful breathing retention

ADVISED -Nadi sodhana= 15 min daily =balances mind and nervous system

-Bhramari= 7-10 rounds =reduces mental noise and fantasy

-Yoga nidra= before sleep =helps reset subconscious patterns

USEFUL ASANAS -vajrasana -shashankasana -pawaanmuktasana -paschimottanasana

LIFESTYLE CORRECTIONS -sleep before 11 pm -no lying idle alone at night -avoid sexual fantasy reinforcement -cold water wash of genital area before sleep -daily sunlight exposure -physical work- walking, mild strength

MOST IMPORTANT MENTAL INSTRUCTION

DO NOT -fight the thought -analyze the fantasy -judge yourself

INSTEAD Says mentally -This is a conditioned thought, not me

Then shift attention to body or breath

This weakens the loop over time

You are not abnormal You are not morally damaged You are not beyond recovery

This condition is -treatable -reversible -commoner than people admit

But it needs -time -structure -support

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

Dr. M.Sushma
I am Dr. Sushma M and yeah, I’ve been in Ayurveda for over 20 yrs now—honestly still learning from it every day. I mostly work with preventive care, diet logic, and prakriti-based guidance. I mean, why wait for full-blown disease when your body’s been whispering for years, right? I’m kinda obsessed with that early correction part—spotting vata-pitta-kapha imbalances before they spiral into something deeper. Most ppl don’t realize how much power food timing, digestion rhythm, & basic routine actually have… until they shift it. Alongside all that classical Ayurveda, I also use energy medicine & color therapy—those subtle layers matter too, esp when someone’s dealing with long-term fatigue or emotional heaviness. These things help reconnect not just the body, but the inner self too. Some ppl are skeptical at first—but when you treat *beyond* the doshas, they feel it. And I don’t force anything… I just kinda match what fits their nature. I usually take time understanding a person’s prakriti—not just from pulse or skin or tongue—but how they react to stress, sleep patterns, their relationship with food. That whole package tells the story. I don’t do textbook treatment lines—I build a plan that adjusts *with* the person, not on top of them. Over the years, watching patients slowly return to their baseline harmony—that's what keeps me in it. I’ve seen folks come in feeling lost in symptoms no one explained… and then walk out weeks later understanding their body better than they ever did. That, to me, is healing. Not chasing symptoms, but restoring rhythm. I believe true care doesn’t look rushed, or mechanical. It listens, observes, tweaks gently. That's the kind of Ayurveda I try to practice—not loud, but deeply rooted.

Dr. Vignesh M
I am an Ayurvedic practitioner with around 3 years of clinical practice, and during this time I have consulted patients with a wide range of health conditions, focusing on accurate diagnosis and practical treatment plans. My work is deeply rooted in classical Ayurveda, and I try to stay honest to the core principles of ancient Ayurvedic medicine, especially when it comes to understanding the root cause of disease rather than just managing symptoms. I am well versed in chronic and long standing conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative joint disorders, autoimmune diseases, digestive problems, and diabetes. These cases often need patience and clarity, and I have learned that treatment only works when it is aligned with the patient’s body type, lifestyle, and diet. I regularly combine Ayurvedic therapies with personalized dietary guidance, because food habits play a major role in healing, even if patients sometimes overlook it. My approach to patient care is holistic and practical. I spend time understanding the history of illness, digestion, stress patterns, and daily routines. At times the progress is slow, and honestly that can be a bit frustrating, but consistent Ayurvedic treatment does bring stability when applied correctly. I believe Ayurveda works best when applied with depth, not shortcuts, and that belief guides my clinical decisions. I continue to deepen my understanding of Ayurvedic diagnostics and root cause treatment, and I try to keep my practice grounded, simple, and patient focused. I am not chasing perfection, just real improvement in health, one case at a time..

Dr.

Dr. B.Jayagowri
I am a doctor practicing Ayurveda Medicine with around 16 years of hands-on experience, mainly focused on Panchakarma therapies and long-term Ayurvedic care. Over the years I have worked with patients dealing with chronic conditions, lifestyle disorders, women’s health concerns, and general wellness issues, and honestly the learning never really stops, even after so many years. I am currently running two Ayurveda clinics in Chennai, which keeps me busy most days and sometimes a bit stretched, but it also helps me stay closely connected to real patient needs. My work is rooted in classical Ayurvedic principles, while also trying to be practical and relavent to modern life. Panchakarma therapies are a core part of my practice, and I pay close attention to how each therapy is planned, timed, and followed up, becuase small details matter a lot in outcomes. Academically, I have completed my MD in Accu, and I am presently pursuing a PhD in Gynecology. Women’s health is an area I spend a lot of time thinking about, researching, and treating, and sometimes I still question if we fully listen enough to what patients are trying to say. My approach to treatment is individualised, not rushed, and based on understanding the root cause rather than just symptoms, though this takes patience from both sides. I try to keep my consultations clear and honest, without overpromising results. Ayurveda works deeply, but it also demands consistency, and that part is not always easy. Still, I believe steady care, proper Panchakarma, and right guidance can bring meaningful change, even if progress feels slow at times!!

Dr. Anjali Sehrawat
I am Dr. Anjali Sehrawat. Graduated BAMS from National College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Barwala (Hisar) in 2023—and right now I'm doing my residency, learning a lot everyday under senior clinicians who’ve been in the field way longer than me. It’s kind of intense but also really grounding. Like, it makes you pause before assuming anything about a patient. During my UG and clinical rotations, I got good hands-on exposure... not just in diagnosing through Ayurvedic nidan but also understanding where and when Allopathic tools (like lab reports or acute interventions) help fill the gap. I really believe that if you *actually* want to heal someone, you gotta see the whole picture—Ayurveda gives you that depth, but you also need to know when modern input is useful, right? I’m more interested in chronic & lifestyle disorders—stuff like metabolic imbalances, stress-linked issues, digestive problems that linger and slowly pull energy down. I don’t rush into giving churnas or kashayams just bcz the texts say so... I try to see what fits the patient’s prakriti, daily habits, emotional pattern etc. It’s not textbook-perfect every time, but that’s where the real skill grows I guess. I do a lot of thinking abt cause vs symptom—sometimes it's not the problem you see that actually needs solving first. What I care about most is making sure the treatment is safe, ethical, practical, and honest. No overpromising, no pushing meds that don’t fit. And I’m always reading or discussing sth—old Samhitas or recent journals, depends what the case demands. My goal really is to build a practice where people feel seen & understood, not just “managed.” That's where healing actually begins, right?

Dr. Ravi Chandra Rushi
I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

Dr. Prasad Pentakota
I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Dr. Jatin Kumar Sharma
I am a BAMS graduate and currently running my own clinic, where I see patients on a regular basis and try to give them honest, practical care. My daily work involves understanding different health concerns, listening properly to what the patient is going through, and then planning treatment in a way that actually fits their routine. I believe treatment should not feel confusing or rushed, and sometimes even small changes make a big difference. Running my own clinic has taught me a lot about responsibility and consistency. Some days are busy, some are slow, but every patient brings a different challenge and learning. I focus mainly on Ayurvedic treatment methods, lifestyle correction and long-term health balance, rather than quick fixes. There are times when progress takes longer, but I stay patient and keep working with the person step by step. I try to keep my approach simple, practical and honest. For me, real success is when a patient feels better in daily life, sleeps better, eats better and slowly regains balance. That is what keeps me going and improving every day.

Dr. Sanjay Verma
I am a General Physician who worked at Shri Vishvaamrut Ayurvedic Super Specialty Clinic in Nagpur for 6 months, and that time shaped how I look at everyday patient care in a pretty grounded way. My role involved handling common medical conditions, routine consultations, and ongoing follow ups, often in a setting where modern medicine and ayurvedic practice exists side by side, which was intresting and sometimes challanging. I am focused on primary care, early diagnosis, and practical treatment planning. Working in a super specialty clinic meant I had to be attentive, flexible, and clear while communicating with patients from different backgrounds, some came with long standing issues, others just needed basic medical guidance. I try to listen first, then decide, though at times the pace was fast and decisions had to be made quick. I am careful about patient safety, continuity of care, and explaining things in a way that does not confuse people more than needed. Being a general physician there helped me build confidence in day to day clinical judgement, even when resources or time felt limited. I am still learning, still adjusting, and sometimes I double check myself, but that habit keeps care honest and patient centered!! I am someone who values consistency over shortcuts, and clear medical thinking over noise, even if the process feel a bit messy at times.
