Hello, They are good for weight gain. But important factor would be handling stress. So along with shatavari-ashwagandha-liv. 52 please address the stress factor by regularly practicing yogasana-pranayama and meditation. And also please look into the food you are consuming. A products called as weight gain churna by rajasthan herbals is also a good choice. Take care, Kind regards.

Hello I get it—this road’s been tough. You’re 29, you’ve done your best, but the scale refuses to budge. It’s exhausting, right?

Stress and weird meal times just make things worse. But Ayurveda sees the whole picture and actually offers some gentle, steady ways to help.

Let’s break it down a bit. When it comes to weight gain, Ayurveda usually points to a few things:

- Too much Vata - Weak digestion (“mandagni”) - Poor formation of “Rasa Dhatu” (that’s the basic nourishing tissue) - Stress, anxiety, and eating at odd hours

All of this together is called “Karshya.”

Now, can you take Shatavari, Ashwagandha, and Liv 52 together?

Absolutely. In fact, they work pretty well as a team if you use them right.

Here’s what each one does:

Ashwagandha boosts strength, helps you build muscle, and keeps stress in check—so you actually have a shot at gaining weight, as long as your digestion’s working.

Shatavari nourishes your tissues, helps your body absorb food better, and balances hormones. All that supports healthy weight gain.

Liv 52 looks after your liver, which in turn helps with appetite and digestion. You need both in top shape if you want to gain weight.

Taken together, these three first get your digestion on track, then start nourishing your body. That’s the real Ayurvedic way.

About the dosage—here’s the common, safe routine

–Ashwagandha churna: Half a teaspoon, twice a day, with warm milk after meals.

–Shatavari churna: Same—half a teaspoon, twice a day, with warm milk after meals.

–Liv 52 tablets: Two tablets, twice a day, before meals.

Stick with this for at least 8 to 12 weeks to see real changes.

But honestly, all the medicine in the world won’t help if your eating habits are all over the place. Diet timing is everything. So:

- Eat three proper meals and one or two snacks every day. - Never skip breakfast. - Eat at the same times every day, no matter what.

What should you eat? Go for:

- Warm milk, ghee, rice, wheat - Bananas, dates, soaked raisins - Paneer, curd (if your stomach handles it) - Homemade khichdi with ghee - Peanut chikki, laddoos—but don’t go overboard

And try to avoid:

- Cold drinks - Too much tea or coffee - Late-night meals - Dry, packaged foods

A few lifestyle tweaks go a long way, too. Try to get to bed before 11. Do some light exercise or yoga, but don’t overdo it with cardio. And really—don’t obsess over your weight. Worrying kills your digestion.

If you’re still not seeing any changes after three months, get these checked: - Thyroid function - Complete blood count (CBC) - Vitamin B12 and D - Stool digestion markers

One last thing—your body isn’t weak. It just needs to start absorbing properly. Once digestion and stress settle down, you’ll gain weight. Maybe not overnight, but it’ll happen—and it’ll last.

Stick with it and be patient. You’ve got this.

Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

🌿 About Shatavari, Ashwagandha, and Liv52 - Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) Traditionally used in Ayurveda for reproductive and digestive health. It may support appetite and digestion, but evidence for weight gain is limited.

- Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Known for reducing stress and improving energy. Some studies suggest it can help increase muscle mass and strength when combined with proper diet and exercise.

- Liv52 (herbal liver tonic) Commonly used to support liver function. It may improve appetite and digestion indirectly, but it’s not a direct weight-gain supplement.

🌱 How to Use These Herbs Safely - Ashwagandha: Often taken as powder (churna) with warm milk at night. - Shatavari: Traditionally taken with milk or ghee for nourishment. - Liv52: Usually in tablet or syrup form, before meals.

🛠️ Practical Steps for Healthy Weight Gain:

- Structured eating: Aim for 5–6 small meals daily, rich in calories and protein.

- Calorie-dense foods: Nuts, seeds, ghee, milk, paneer, lentils, bananas, dates.

- Strength training: Even light resistance exercise signals your body to build muscle, not just fat.

- Stress management: Yoga, pranayama, or guided relaxation can reduce the anxiety that blocks appetite.

Yes, Shatavari + Ashwagandha + Liv52 is a safe & good combination for you. All three are very supportive for healthy weight gain, especially when stress/anxiety kills appetite and causes irregular eating.

Safe Dosage (start low) Ashwagandha Lehyam – 5–10 gm morning + night with warm milk. Shatavari Kalpa – 10 gm morning + night with warm milk. Liv52 – 2 tablets twice daily after food (standard dose).

Take after meals (never empty stomach). Continue minimum 3–6 months – safe long-term. Add 1–2 tsp ghee in every meal (calorie boost without heaviness).

Diet Fix (Most Important) Eat 5–6 small meals daily (break irregular habit). Breakfast: warm milk + ghee + 4 soaked almonds + 2 dates + banana. Lunch/Dinner: rice/roti + moong dal + sabzi + 2 tsp ghee. Evening: milkshake (milk + banana + dates). Night: warm milk + ghee before bed.

Lifestyle Strength training or yoga 30 min 4–5 days/week (builds muscle weight). Sleep 10 PM – 6 AM strictly (growth hormone works at night). Reduce stress: 10 min Anulom-Vilom daily.

HELLO,

In Ayurvedic language it means 'Agnimandya" (weak digestive fire) leading to dhatu kshaya (depletion of body tissue)

According to Ayurveda, your body is made up of seven main tissues- plasma (rasa), blood (rakta), muscle (mamsa), fat (meda), bone (asthi), marrow (majja),and reproductive tissue (shukra)

Food is first digested and then transformed step by step into each of these tissues. If digestion is weak or disturbed by excessive vata and pitta, the nourishment chain breaks. as a result, -rasa dhatu becomes weak-> underweight -Ojas (the essence of all tissues) becomes low-> fatigue and loss of weight

Thiis imbalance mainly vata and pitta vitiation is responsible for your symptoms
