I have problem of irregular periods also iam taking anti depressions. I started taking half tea spoon of shitavari and ashowargha .but i am gaining weight. Is this weight gain of these two medicines

Hello Main issue: Artava Dushti (irregular menses) Likely causes:
Kapha + Meda vriddhi (weight gain tendency)
Agnimandya (weak digestion/metabolism)
Apana Vata dushti (cycle irregularity)
Possible PCOS/thyroid tendency (needs confirmation)
⚠️ Important note: Ashwagandha + Shatavari are guru/snigdha (heavy, nourishing) → can increase Kapha/Meda, hence mild weight gain in some patients, especially if metabolism is slow.
