Based on: Daily hives for 14 years No clear trigger Lip/eye swelling (angioedema) Severe itching No relief from Panchakarma This strongly suggests: 👉 Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) (not simple “allergy”) In most long-term cases: ✔ It is autoimmune in nature ✔ Mast cells release histamine continuously ✔ Not food allergy ✔ Not simple pitta problem 🌿 Ayurvedic View Often considered as: Sheetapitta Udarda Kotha But when 14 years chronic: It usually involves: Rakta dushti Pitta aggravation Vata involvement Immune dysregulation Just doing Panchakarma repeatedly without correcting immune mechanism won’t cure it. ❗ Important Reality Chronic urticaria > 6 weeks is rarely cured permanently. Goal is: ✔ Control ✔ Reduce frequency ✔ Reduce severity ✔ Achieve remission Many patients go into remission after years. 🚨 Very Important Question Have you ever done: Thyroid profile? Anti-TPO antibodies? ANA? Vitamin D level? IgE level? Many chronic urticaria patients have: Autoimmune thyroid Low vitamin D Stress-related triggers 💊 About Prescription Medicines If antihistamines were given: Modern protocol says: High dose non-sedating antihistamines If resistant → Omalizumab injection Severe cases → Immunomodulators If you only took low dose occasionally, it won’t control chronic urticaria. 🌿 What Ayurveda Can Do (Realistic Plan) Not extreme detox again. Instead: 1️⃣ Gentle Pitta-Rakta balancing Guduchi Haridra (but careful) Mahamanjisthadi Neem (mild, not aggressive) 2️⃣ Gut healing Chronic urticaria often linked to gut permeability. Buttermilk with roasted jeera Avoid fermented + processed food 3️⃣ Strict Avoid ❌ Fermented foods ❌ Leftover food ❌ Vinegar ❌ Bakery ❌ Packaged snacks ❌ Excess spicy ❌ Alcohol Even if no “trigger” seen. 🧘 Stress is a Huge Factor Chronic urticaria flares with stress. Daily: Deep breathing Meditation Sleep before 11 pm ⚠ Lip/Eye Swelling Warning If swelling ever involves: Throat tightness Difficulty breathing That is emergency. 🧠 Why Panchakarma Failed? Because: This is immune-driven condition. Not just “ama” or “pitta”. Over-detox may even aggravate. Repeated virechana without stabilizing immunity can worsen Vata.

Ige level is normal and vit d is low even thyroid is normal

–You are likely suffering from Chronic spontaneous urticaria, which is a long-term immune-related condition. Your normal test results are common in this condition, and low Vitamin D may slightly worsen symptoms but is not the main cause. This is not due to toxins or food allergy in most cases. It happens because of overactive mast cells in the skin. Since your symptoms are severe and daily, treatment needs to be stepped up. If antihistamines are not controlling it, advanced treatment like Omalizumab may be required, for this consult dermatologist. This condition is treatable, but it needs proper long-term management under a dermatologist or immunologist. - along with allopathic continue with ayurveda as supportive treatment —Rx 1) Haridra Khanda – 1 tsp twice daily after food with lukewarm water 2)Guduchi Ghana Vati – 2 tabs twice daily after food 3)Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tab twice daily after food 4)Avipattikar Churna – ½ tsp at bedtime with warm water —External: Neem oil / Coconut oil application over affected area (if itching severe) — advice Avoid curd, cold food, fermented items, bakery, spicy & fried food Avoid day sleep Reduce stress, maintain regular sleep Avoid excessive heat exposure Follow-up: after 15 days

Hello dear, Hives can be co related to Shita pitta in ayurveda and its imbalance in pitta and kaphaj . Can be aggravated in pitta causing products like spicy , bitter , and also protein rich- n veg, milk products, peanuts , toor daal . I would suggest some protocols and medicines: 1. Aarogyavardini vati 2-0-2 before meals twice a day with water. 2.Kaishor guggul 2-0-2 after meals twice a day with water. 3.Haridrakhand vati 1-0-1 after meals twice a day with water. 4.Gandarva haritaki vati 0-0-1 before dinner with warm water. 5.Gandak rasyan 2-0-2 after meals twice a day. Do this for 14 days and do a follow up. You need to avoid all the milk prodcts and spicy food for sometime, for spice you can use black pepper. Avoid sour food also. I hope you get well.

HELLO, For 14 years of daily hives with lip/eye swelling and extreme itching (10/10) with no clear triggers, this looks like chronic spontaneous urticaria In Ayurveda, it correlates mainly with sheetpitta/udarda/kotha, involving vitiated pitta + vata with rakta dushti (blood vitiation) AVOID AGGRAVATING FACTORS Even if triggers aren’t obvious, strictly avoid -curd especially at night -fermented, sour, spicy, fried foods -packagged/ processed foods -seafood if sensitive -excess tea/coffee -day sleep -late nights -emotional stress Follow a simple, warm, freshly cooked diet INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1) HARIDRA KHANDA= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime for allergy modulation 2) GUDUCHI SATVA= 500mg twice daily with warm water after meals. immune balancing 3) AROGYAVARDHINI VATI= 1 tab twice daily after meal for liver correction important in chronic urticaria 4) AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water if acidity present 5) MAHAMANJISTHADI KASHAYA= 15ml + equal water twice daily before meals =for blood purification IF SWELLING IS FREQUENT->ADD -Kamdudha ras (with Mukta)= 1 tab twice daily after meals for pitta pacification GUT AND DIGESTION CORRECTION (very important) Chronic hives often relate to weak digestion + toxins -start morning with warm water + pinch turmeric -light, easily digestible meals -early dinner before 7:30pm PANCHAKARMA (but done properly) since you tried panchakarma without releif, it may not have targeted the root FOR CHRONIC CASES -Virechana= best for pitta and rakta disorders -Followed by raktamokashana -later mild basti if vata involvement severe Only after proper deepana- pachana preparation EXTERNAL RELIEF -apply Chandan + rose water paste on hives -neem water bath -avoid hot showers STRESS AND NERVOUS SYSTEM CONTROL Long term urticaria often worsen with stress -10 min daily sheetali/sheetkari pranayam -ealry sleep before 10:30 pm Since symptoms are severe and long standing, combining -proepr ayurvedic detox -strict diet discipline -liver correction -stress regulation Is key . Improvement may take 3-6 months in chronic cases DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
