What to do for uterus inflammation and thick endometrial lining in postmenopausal women? - #53435
My ultrasound shows uterus inflammation and endometrial lining thickness of 8.6mm. Malignancy is ruled out. I am postmenopausal woman.
Doctors' responses
In postmenopausal stage, thickened endometrial lining along with inflammation usually indicates local hormonal imbalance and tissue irritation. Since malignancy is ruled out, the focus should be on reducing inflammation and maintaining uterine health. Keep your diet light and easy to digest. Avoid very oily, spicy, and processed foods. Prefer warm, freshly prepared meals. Maintaining regular sleep and reducing stress also supports hormonal balance even after menopause. Avoid unnecessary hormonal supplements unless prescribed. Gentle daily walking and light yoga can help improve circulation in the pelvic region. At home, you can take warm water with a pinch of turmeric once daily. Including a small amount of ghee in food can help in reducing internal dryness and irritation. Ashokarishta – 15 ml with equal water twice daily after food Kanchanar Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Lodhra churna – ½ teaspoon with warm water twice daily These can help in reducing inflammation and supporting uterine tissue health gradually. Regular follow-up with ultrasound is important to monitor the thickness. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
