I am really confused about fasting and the whole food thing. Last week, during a religious fast, I just drank water and felt kinda weak, but this time, I want to do it differently. A friend told me that honey helps boost energy, and I’m wondering, can we eat honey in fast? I mean, I did some reading, but there’s so much info out there, it's hard to know what's right. Last month, I tried fasting for a day, and by the end, I was super cranky and had a headache. Not fun at all! I also heard that honey has some health perks, like it’s natural and gives you energy without the crash you get from sugar. Like, if I could use honey in my tea during a fast, would that break it? Or could I eat it straight up? Got mixed signals from my family too - some say it’s fine, others say no way! If honey is okay, how much is too much? I don’t wanna mess it up, especially since I wanna use fasting as a way to feel more centered and healthy, but gotta get my facts straight first. Any wisdom from the group would be super appreciated!
