✓For Lunch it is Safe & beneficial for most people as it balances Vata-Pitta, nourishes & digests well (keep yogurt moderate, ½–1 small bowl). ✓For Dinner/Night: Avoid mixing yogurt – it is heavy & cold and increases Kapha, causes bloating, mucus & heaviness next morning. ✓Replace with spiced thin buttermilk (chaach + roasted jeera) or skip dairy at night. ✓If occasional bloating occurs (even at lunch): Take yogurt separately (15–20 min after main meal) Add ½ tsp roasted jeera powder + pinch rock salt to yogurt – makes it lighter & more digestible Finish dinner by 7–7:30 pm Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

According to Ayurveda texts- ghee and yoghurt both are guru in nature , if taken together will increase kafa Dosha. - if digestion is strong it’s gd u can take it But if digestion is will it will cause bloating, heaviness and ama formation. — so the best way is u can take it during lunch , avoid it in dinner and try to make it thin with water than consumption will be ok , and also don’t heat it.

According to Ayurveda, yogurt (curd) is nourishing but heavy and can increase kapha if not used properly. Mixing yogurt with vegetables and ghee is not automatically harmful, but it depends on digestion and how it is consumed. General guidance: • Yogurt is best taken during daytime, especially lunch, rather than dinner • Small quantity is preferable, and it should be fresh (not sour or refrigerated for long) • Adding a little ghee is usually acceptable if digestion is strong • To reduce heaviness, you can add roasted cumin, black pepper or make it into thin buttermilk Since you experience occasional bloating, it may indicate that digestion needs support or the combination/quantity may not be suiting you fully. A personalized review of your digestion and food combinations can help adjust your routine for better comfort.

HELLO, In Ayurveda, food combinations are very important because certain mixtures are believed to disturb digestion and create toxins. let’s look at your specific combination carefully 1) YOGURT + GHEE + VEGETABLES- IS IT HARMFUL? According to Ayurveda YOGURT -heavy -heating -increases kapha and pitta -can cause bloaitng if digestion is weak GHEE -nourishing -improving digestion when used moderately -pacifies vata and pitta -suppots gut lining MIXING YOGURT + GHEE Ayurveda does not strictly forbid this combination HOWEVER -mixing equal quantities of ghee and honey is harmful (this is a classical rule) -Yogurt + ghee is generally acceptable in small amounts -The problem arises the digestion is weak So the mixture itself is not toxic, but it depends on -quantity -time of day -digestive strength -season WHY YOU MAY FEEL BLOATING You mentioned occasional bloaitng. In Ayurveda, yogurt -increaees kapha -is heavy to digest -can produce gas If taken daily Daily use of full fat yogurt at dinner is especially discourage din Ayurveda YOGURT AT NIGHT -increases mucus -slows digestion -promotes bloating and heaviness BEST WAY TO CONSUME YOGURT According to classical ayurveda -prefer daytime -avoid at night -add black pepper or roasted cumin -add a Little Rock salt -dilute into buttermilk instead Buttermilk is considered far superior for digestion YOGURT + COOKED VEGETABLES+ GHEE This combination is generally -safe in small amounts -beneficail if digestion is strong -problematic if taken daily and at night If vegetables are oily + yogurt is heavy + digestion is moderate ->bloating can occur Since you -consume daily -use full fat yogurt -experience bloaitng I SUGGEST -avoid yogurt at dinner -shift yogurt to lunch only -reduce quantiity -add digestive spices- jeera, black pepper -try buttermilk instaad of thick yogurt -observe for 2-3 weeks Avoid yogurt completely if -you have sinus congestion -frequent colds -skin issues like eczema -acid reflux -weak digestion Mixing yogurt with ghee and vegetables is not inherently harmful, but daily use- especially at night- can weaken digestion and cause bloaitng acocording to ayurvedic principles DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Yoghurt is best taken after lunch , yes vegetables can be added, and ghee give tadka with rai ( mustard seeds or jeera with asafoetida if available) this added to the yoghurt, will make it easily digestible, can add black salt also and roasted jeera powder to avoid any indigestion, or bloating.
