Sir,I also take allopathic medicine like fluoxetine 40,lithium 600,alprazolam 1.50 mg, clomipramine 50, chlordiazepoxide 25, amoxepine 50., resperidone 1 mg…so my question is sir mixture of allopathic and ayurvedic is better or only allopathic is better. I also take ayurvedic medicine like manasmitram 1-0-0,mentat 250-1-0-0,brahmi 250-1-0-0, ashwagandha 250 1-0-1 Sumenta 1-0-0. Please guide me sir…I m confused

You’re currently on multiple strong psychiatric medications (fluoxetine, lithium, clomipramine, alprazolam, chlordiazepoxide, amoxapine, risperidone). This is already a heavy CNS-active combination, so adding many Ayurvedic medicines on top can increase risk of sedation, interaction, or mood instability. Direct answer: ➡️ Do NOT mix many Ayurvedic + allopathic medicines together like this. ➡️ Continue your allopathic medicines as the primary treatment. ➡️ If adding Ayurveda, keep it minimal and supervised. Since you are already on strong allopathic medicines, keep Ayurveda simple and supportive: Medicines: Brahmi vati – 1 tablet morning + 1 tablet evening after food Manasmitram – 1 tablet at bedtime (These help focus, memory, and calm mind) Optional (if needed): Shankhpushpi syrup – 2 tsp at night (improves concentration) Avoid adding: Ashwagandha, Mentat, Sumenta (already too many medicines → can worsen dullness) Practical tips (very important): Start reading in small chunks (10–15 minutes) Read at same fixed time daily Avoid mobile before reading Morning sunlight exposure improves focus naturally Expectation: Interest will not come suddenly — gradual improvement in 2–4 weeks as brain stabilizes. Dosage Usually 1 tablet once or twice daily In moderate cases → once daily (preferably at bedtime with warm milk) In severe symptoms (like yours) → twice daily (morning + bedtime) is often advised How to take: With warm milk or ghee for better mind nourishment Take after food to avoid gastric irritation Ayurvedic support advice: Follow Satvik diet (avoid excess spicy, caffeine, junk) Practice meditation, pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) Maintain proper sleep routine
