How to improve memory and mental strength during allergy season with nasal issues and dry throat? - #54913
Allergy, nasal issues, dry throat, sleep disturbances as a result. Triggered by fluctuating temperature or weather. Internal dryness & excess vata in body. Appetite is good. I am a Vata-kapha type. Age 45 years, weight 66kg, height 174 cm. Question- It concerns the mental issue. How to protect the memory & mental strength in the above scenario? What things to consume to look after the mental aspect (anxiety, memory etc..) which arises as a result of the above-mentioned recurring physical issue? If ashwagandha in winters then what in summers? I regularly do anulom vilom & kapalbhati & am quite active in my lifestyle. But am engaged in daily audit work which is taxing on my mind. I SEEK A REPLY IN THE MENTAL ASPECT OF THE ISSUE. I HAVE ALREADY GOT A REPLY REGARDING THE PHYSICAL ISSUE. Thanks

Can bhujangasana & setubandhasan be done? Also does brahm rasayan help?
●Yes, Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose) can absolutely be practiced together. In fact, they make an excellent complementary pair for supporting mental health.Begin with Bhujangasana (prone pose) to gently warm up and open the spine and chest.Roll over onto your back to perform Setu Bandhasana, holding it with slow, deep abdominal breaths. ●Brahmi Rasayana is highly effective for mental issues, particularly those involving cognitive exhaustion, brain fog, chronic stress, and anxiety. •Nourishes the Majja Dhatu: It directly nourishes the nervous tissue (Majja Dhatu), building resilience against mental wear and •Reduces Vata Imbalance: Psychological instability, racing thoughts, and sleep disturbances are primary expressions of aggravated Vata. ●Brahma Rasayana’s grounding, unctuous (Snigdha) nature acts as a potent Vata-shaman (calmer). •Boosts Ojas: By enhancing Ojas (the subtle essence of physical and mental strength), it helps the mind withstand emotional stressors without falling into burnout.Dosage: Typically 1 to 2 teaspoons (approx. 5-10 grams). •Timing: Best taken early in the morning on an empty stomach, about 30-45 minutes before breakfast, to allow the delicate herbs to assimilate properly. Intake with Warm milk or lukewarm water.
