I am suffering from insomnia for the last 15 to 18 years how much shatavri dosa shall I take due to stress related to case impanding litigations and financials to Indian sea set home and please prescribe Shatabdi or Ashwagandha how much dosage I should take

Hello Go with 1.Ashwagandha capsules 2 cap twice daily with warm milk after meals 2.Brahmi vati 1 tab at bedtime DO’s (Follow these) Routine: Sleep by 10:00 PM. Consistency is key for 18-year insomnia. Foot massage: Rub warm sesame oil or ghee on soles before bed (grounds the mind). Bedtime Drink: Warm milk with ashwagandha and a pinch of nutmeg. Breathing: 5 minutes of Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) to calm legal anxiety. Early Dinner: Eat light, warm food at least 3 hours before sleeping. DON’Ts (Avoid these) Screen Time: No phone or legal documents 2 hours before bed. Stimulants: No tea or coffee after 2:00 PM. Day Napping: Avoid sleeping during the day; it ruins the night cycle. Overthinking in Bed: If you can’t sleep after 20 minutes, get up and sit in a chair until tired. Heavy Meals: Avoid spicy, fried, or heavy fermented foods at dinner.edtime with water

When stress from external factors (like legal or financial concerns) persists, it depletes Ojas (vitality) and creates a state of Mano-vaha Srotas (mental channel) imbalance. Ashwagandha is generally preferred over Shatavari for stress-induced insomnia because it is a potent adaptogen that reduces cortisol and stabilizes Vata. Shatavari is cooling and nourishing, making it better suited if there is associated acidity or physical exhaustion, but Ashwagandha is the primary choice for mental strength. Medicines : ​1. Ashwagandharishtam This is a fermented liquid preparation that is highly effective for anxiety and sleeplessness. ​Dosage: Take 20 ml diluted with an equal amount of lukewarm water, twice daily after food. ​2. Ashwagandha Sparkels (or Tablets) If you prefer a solid form for precise dosing of the root extract. ​Dosage: Take 1 tablet twice daily with warm milk or water before bed. ​3. Ksheerabala Thailam (For External Application) Sleep quality is often improved by calming the sensory organs. ​Usage: Apply a few drops of Ksheerabala Thailam to the crown of the head and the soles of your feet (Padabhyanga) before sleeping to induce deep relaxation.
