Face and neck has become 4-5 shades darker - #1057

It’s been more than 2 years My face and neck complexion has become 4-5 shades darker than my actual complexion..I don’t go in sunlight..was in stress 2 years back and have patches on forehead,nose and near facial hair

The darkening of your complexion, facial patches, and uneven tone may be linked to stress, hormonal imbalance, and accumulated toxins (Ama). This is often associated with Pitta and Vata dosha imbalances in Ayurveda. Here’s a step-by-step approach to restoring your natural complexion and improving skin health.
1. Internal Detoxification
Take Triphala churna (1 teaspoon) with warm water at bedtime. It cleanses the body, improves digestion, and reduces toxins.
Consume Manjistha capsules (500 mg twice daily) to purify the blood and enhance skin tone.
Drink a decoction of neem leaves and turmeric (boil 5-6 neem leaves with a pinch of turmeric in water). Consume it once daily for a month to clear skin impurities.
2. External Skin Care
Apply a face pack made of sandalwood powder, turmeric, and rose water. Use it 2-3 times a week to lighten dark patches and soothe inflammation.
Massage your face and neck gently with Kumkumadi Tailam (saffron-based oil) before bedtime. It nourishes the skin and helps even out the complexion.
Wash your face with a mild, herbal cleanser like aloe vera or neem-based products to maintain natural moisture.
3. Diet for Healthy Skin
Follow a Pitta-pacifying diet. Avoid spicy, sour, and fried foods that can aggravate skin issues. Include fresh fruits like pomegranate, papaya, and watermelon, which are cooling and hydrating.
Drink plenty of water and herbal teas like coriander or fennel tea to stay hydrated and support detoxification.
4. Stress Management
Practice daily meditation for 10–15 minutes to reduce stress and balance hormones. Stress is a significant factor in uneven skin tone and patches.
Incorporate yoga poses like Shavasana (Corpse Pose) and Balasana (Child’s Pose) to calm the mind and improve circulation.
5. Protect Your Skin
Even if you’re not exposed to direct sunlight, use a natural sunscreen like aloe vera gel mixed with a few drops of coconut oil to protect your skin from indoor light and pollution.
6. Panchakarma Therapies (Optional)
Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for therapies like Virechana (purgation therapy) or Abhyanga (oil massage), which can detoxify and rejuvenate your skin.
Follow this routine consistently for 6–8 weeks. With patience and regular care, you should see significant improvement in your complexion and overall skin health.
