In Ayurveda, this condition would be addressed by focusing on reducing Vata (which governs movement) and clearing Ama from the body. Treatments would typically involve anti-inflammatory herbs like Turmeric, Ashwagandha, and Guggul, along with detoxification therapies like Panchakarma to remove toxins. Topical treatments with Mahanarayan oil or Kshirabala oil for joint pain, along with a Kapha and Vata-pacifying diet, would also help reduce the pain and inflammation.
