First, let’s talk about diet. Since you’re transitioning to vegetarian, it’s important to focus on a balanced diet that nourishes your hair. Ensure you’re getting enough protein, like from lentils, beans, and chickpeas. Iron is also crucial; include foods like spinach and dates. Omega-3 fatty acids in flaxseeds and walnuts might help too… sounds delicious, right?

In Ayurveda, hair health is related to the balance of the doshas, especially Pitta. When Pitta is aggravated, it may lead to hair issues. Try cooling foods to pacify Pitta. Think cucumbers, melons, and salads. Avoid spicy and acidic food stuffs.

Now for lifestyle, stress can also affect hair health. How’s your sleep? Make sure you’re getting a good night’s rest – aiming for 7-8 hours. Consider a regular routine that includes relaxing practices like meditation or deep breathing. Just 10 minutes a day could make a difference.
