Alright, dealing with hair thinning and bald patches, eh… that can be quite troubling. But don’t worry, Ayurveda’s got some profound wisdom to offer. To tackle this, we need to consider the doshas involved—primarily Pitta dosha often plays a role in hair issues. But don’t discount Vata imbalance either; it’s all connected, ya know.

1. Let’s dive into the herbal remedies first. Bhringraj—ever heard of it? It’s sometimes called the “king of hair.” Daily application of bhringraj oil, warmed up a bit and massaged into the scalp, can help reduce hair fall and even support regrowth. Do this at night, leave it on for an hour or two—or even overnight if you’re okay with a bit of mess.

2. Now, dietary changes are equally crucial. Add more cooling and pitta-balancing foods like cucumber, sweet fruits, and leafy greens. These help soothe the internal heat. Avoid spicy, fried, or excessively salty foods. And drink plenty of water, but I guess that’s obvious.

3. Also, try a shirodhara therapy if you can find it locally. It’s a part of Panchakarma treatments where warm oil is gently poured onto your forehead, promoting relaxation and balancing doshas. Super relaxing and good for the mind too.

4. Meditation or pranayama. Thirty minutes daily. Calm your mind—it helps reduce Pitta stress, which also affects hair health. And make sure you’re getting enough sleep, at least 7 hours.

5. Finally, Triphala churna. Take it with warm water before bed. It’ll support your digestion, as a good Agni balances doshas better, you see.

Now, remember any treatment can take time, maybe even a few months. And if new patches appear suddenly, do get that checked. You gotta listen to your body first, alright?
