mam, this hair folliculities how many months will be taking to heal up, this has come nearly 18 months over it is not going

Dear Basavaraj,

Based on Ayurvedic principles, hair folliculitis (inflammation/infection of the hair follicles) is often linked to an imbalance of Kapha and Pitta doshas along with the accumulation of Ama (toxins). Use herbal powders like Triphala churna (½ teaspoon in warm water once daily) at night  – A light herbal decoction of ginger and cumin can have once daily. Bringraja tailaw  – Warm the oil slightly and gently massage it into the scalp to improve circulation and reduce local inflammation. Leave it on for at least 1–2 hours or overnight before washing off with a mild, herbal shampoo. Rinse your hair with a decoction made from neem leaves or Tulsi leaves  –TAKE light, easily digestible diet —include fresh fruits, steamed vegetables, and whole grains while avoiding heavy, oily, or processed foods. Maintain good scalp hygiene by regularly washing with mild herbal shampoos. Stress can aggravate doshic imbalances, so consider practices like yoga, meditation, or pranayama to promote overall balance. I hope this Ayurvedic approach helps restore your scalp health and bring relief from your hair folliculitis. Please feel free to reach out if you need further guidance or adjustments in your treatment plan.

Hello Basavaraj , do you have a long standing scalp issue like dandruff or seborrhoea? For hair folliculitis, which involves inflammation of hair follicles often caused by bacterial or fungal infections, Ayurveda recommends soothing and antimicrobial hair packs to reduce infection, calm the scalp, and promote healing. Here’s an effective Ayurvedic hair pack:

Neem Powder (Azadirachta indica) - 2 tbsp (Antibacterial and antifungal) Triphala Powder- 1 tsp (Anti-inflammatory and antiseptic) Aloe Vera Gel (Kumari) - 2 tbsp (Soothing and cooling)

Preparation:

Mix all the powders in a clean bowl. Add fresh aloe vera gel to make a smooth paste. Apply the pack to the scalp, especially on the affected areas. Leave it on for 30-40 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water using a mild herbal shampoo. Frequency:

Apply twice a week for best results. Additional Tips:

Apply Neem oil or Coconut oil infused with turmeric on the scalp before washing to reduce inflammation. Avoid using chemical-based shampoos and hair products. Maintain scalp hygiene and avoid scratching or picking at the scalp. Drink plenty of water and follow a Pitta-pacifying diet, avoiding spicy and fried foods. This Ayurvedic hair pack is gentle, natural, and works effectively to soothe folliculitis and prevent recurrence.

Hello Basavaraj, factors such as stress levels, hormone imbalances, or underlying conditions like diabetes can contribute to the condition. It would also be helpful to know if there have been any changes in your daily habits or environmental factors, such as exposure to harsh chemicals, tight clothing, or excessive sweating. Ayurveda views folliculitis as an imbalance in the body’s doshas, primarily Pitta, which governs heat and inflammation. Treatment focuses on balancing internal heat, improving digestion, and promoting healthy circulation to the scalp. By addressing both internal and external factors, Ayurveda aims to restore balance and prevent future flare-ups. Temporary remedies like applying neem paste, aloe vera gel, or using Triphala can offer relief, while incorporating herbal oils and cooling foods into your routine may help reduce symptoms.

Oh, dealing with hair folliculitis! That can be an annoying issue, right? In Ayurveda, the focus would be on balancing your doshas and promoting healthy skin from within. Alright, let’s dive into it.

This condition might be linked with a Pitta-Kapha imbalance. Folliculitis is like an inflammation that Ayurveda might describe as excess heat (Pitta) and moisture (Kapha) blocking and irritating your hair follicles. You’ll wanna try cool, soothing, and a bit drying remedies.

First thing - let’s talk diet. Try to avoid spicy, oily, and fried foods, since they may aggravate Pitta. That means steering clear of hot peppers, too much garlic, and deep-fried stuff - ouch, I know they’re tasty. Focus on foods that are cooling and fresh like cucumbers, leafy greens, and watermelon. Also, be sure to stay hydrated! Plenty of water and maybe some coconut water - it’s like a natural coolant.

Turmeric can be your best friend. It’s got anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Try mixing a small amount of turmeric powder with water or aloe vera gel and apply the paste on affected areas. Use this a couple of times a day – but patch test first! You don’t want more trouble from skin irritation.

For the imbalance - Triphala, an Ayurvedic remedy, can help cleanse and support your skin from the inside. You could take about 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime, but check how your body responds, since everyone’s constitution varies quite a bit.

Also, maintain good hygiene – gentle cleansing and wearing breathable clothes help. Just be sure to wash your hair and body post-exercise as sweat can irritate those follicles further.

Oh, and stress - it’s a big one. Engage in calming practices like yoga or meditation. Consistency is key, even if just for a few minutes daily.

If these tips don’t seem to bring relief in weeks, or if symptoms start getting worse, it’s wise to check with a healthcare professional—please don’t wait to seek help if you need to. Balancing both modern and Ayurvedic solutions can empower you to manage folliculitis effectively. Take care, okay?
