Coconut oil is cooling and moisturizing, while turmeric is anti-inflammatory and antiseptic, should calm things down, you know? But don't overdo it, just a thin layer is all you need.
Also, consider your diet - are you having a lot of spicy or acidic foods? These can aggravate Pitta and make skin problems worse. Try switching to calming foods like oatmeal, cucumber, and melons, which can help cool your system. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, as dehydration can exacerbate these issues.
Now, for the stress part - give meditation or pranayama a shot. Simple deep breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) can help manage that racing mind, grounding you when anxiety kicks in. Aim for about 10 minutes a day, even if your mind wanders, it's fine, just breathe.
And don't forget, your sleep matters - make sure you're getting enough rest. Poor sleep can send stress levels even higher, and you might find your skin getting worse too. If you're struggling with sleep, try warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg or ashwagandha before bed. Both are known to calm the mind.
