Struggling with SIBO and its Effects on Sleep and Anxiety - #51633

I have been diagnosed with hydrogen SIBO. It caused terrible diarrhea, no constipation. I have tried herbal and conventional antibiotics. I believe I still have SIBO because it has caused histamine intolerance. My symptoms are mouth and lip tingling. I have tried a DAO supplement, that works a little. I have insomnia and anxiety. I have tried prescription sleep medication and also Trazadone. I still have trouble sleeping throughout the night. Do you have any other suggestions for me?

–SIBO can sometimes persist even after antibiotics, especially if gut motility is slow. In addition to treatment, some patients benefit from medications that improve intestinal movement, a temporary low-histamine diet, and supplements that support histamine breakdown. Because histamine can affect the nervous system, it may also contribute to insomnia and anxiety. —Rx : Kutajghan Vati – 2 tab BD after meals × 4 weeks Bilwadi Churna – 3 g BD with lukewarm water before meals Avipattikar Churna – 3 g HS with warm water Takra (buttermilk) with roasted Jeera + Saindhav – after lunch daily ----Diet Advice (Pathya): Light, warm, freshly cooked food Moong dal khichdi, rice gruel, cooked vegetables Avoid fermented foods, leftovers, curd at night, very spicy/oily food —Lifestyle: Early dinner, 12-hour overnight fasting Gentle walk after meals Stress reduction, regular sleep schedule —Follow-up: 2–3 weeks
