Doctors' responses

Hello I can understand your situation
Having AVN at stage of 2/3 is difficult to deal with more pain in right leg as compared to left and now even you are limping But dont worry we are here to help you out In your case, its in stage of 2/3 so it can improved by -Improving your blood flow to hip -Reducing the pain -And also by preventing further degeneration of hip joint -Avoid limping As your right hip joint is becoming weak now entire weight falls on your left leg so only you are limping Taking treatment now is very cruicial because if it progresses beyond 4th stage then surgery is only the option At this stage i have seen many patients have improved from 3 rd stage to 1/2 stage but consistency with treatment is must AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT In AVN main treatment is panchakarma along with internal medication and daily external care INTERNAL MEDICATION 1.Kaishore guggulu 2 tablets twice daily after food 2.Rasnasapthaka kashaya 15ml twice daily after food with equal water 3. Ksheerbala capsule 2 capsule twice daily after food 4. GT 2 Capsule at bed time EXTERNAL THERAPY AT HOME 1.ksheerbala taila-. Warm oil apply on both hip joints and lower back and massage for 15 minutes daily twice 2.Dashmoola ksheeer paka sitz bath (IMPORTANT THERAPY FOR YOU) Take 20 gm of dashmoola add in 3 litre of water and 1/2 litre of milk boil and reduce to half pour in the basin and sit in the basin for 30 minutes PANCHAKARMA You have to do panchakrma session once in 3 months Each session will be for 8 days 1. Sarvanga abhayanga with Dhanwanthram taila 2 Taila dhara over both hip joints 3.Dashmoola parishekha 4.Rajayapana enema course 5.Dashmoola ksheerpaka sitz bath With this you will definately see the change in symptoms and pain You have to follow up regularly so that we can assess your improvement Wishing you a good health 😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

hello, as you have already underwent MRI and got diagnosed with grade 2/3 AVN, you must have gotten the advise for surgery. but dont worry, ayurveda has claimed good results in this disease. being an ayurveda surgeon, i have seen many cases on AVN with severe grading. the treatment gives a good result. but a detailed history is important to understand the type of AVN, whether it is kshayaj type or abhighataj type. AVN can not be cured with medicine only. it is necessary to take panchkarma therapies depending on the type of AVN. till then, take 10 ml gandharvahastadi taila with warm milk at night ( this will clear your gut) then for three days, take vaishwanar churna 5 gm twice a day before meal (this will increase your agni) then stop this churna and start Kaishore guggulu 2 tablet twice a day with warm water (chew) brihat manjisthadi kwath 40 ml twice a day before meal kseerbala taila lukewarm soaked cotton at both hip joint (overnight) if you need a proper and more detailed treatment plan , you can consult me anytime.

Hello, Avascular necrosis of hip joint In ayurveda ,AVN of the hip joint is mainly correlated with asthi majja dhatu kshaya and aggravated vata, which leads to reduced blood supply and degeneration in the femoral head. The treatment focuses on vata pacification, nourishment of bone tissue, improving circulation, and preventing further degeneration Treatment goals -reduce aggravated vata responsible for pain and degeneration -strengthen bone tissue and prevent collapse of femoral head -improve blood supply to the hip joint -manage limping and walking discomfort INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1) Lakshadi Keram= 2tsp with warm water twice daily after meals =strengthens bone and promotes healing of bone tissue 2) yogaraj guggulu= 1 tab twice daily after meals =reduce vata pain and improves joint mobility 3) Dashmoola kwatha= 20 ml + equal water twice daily after meals =anti inflamator and vata pacifying 4) Ashwagandha lehya= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime = nourishes muscles and bones, improves strength 5) Guduchi Ghan Vati= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =improves immunity and reduces inflammation 6) Praval pishti= 250 mg with honey twice daily after meals =supports calcium metabolism and bone health DIET -warm milk with ashwagandha or turmeric -ghee, sesame seeds, almonds -green vegetables, dates, figs -whole grains, and protein rich foods -adequate hydration AVOID -excess alcohol, smoking -junk food, cold foods -excess dry or processed foods LIFESTYLE AND EXERCISE -avoid excess weight bearing and prolonged walking -use support while walking if limping -gentle physiotherapy and hip strengthening exercises -maintain healthy body weight -adequate rest EXPECTED RECOVERY TIME -symptoms relief may start in 6-8 weeks -bone regeneration and stabilization may take 4-8 months with consistent treatment In Stage 2-3 AVN, early ayurvedic treatment combine with physiotherapy can help slow progression and reduce pain, possibly delaying or preventing surgery Do follow hope this might be helpful thank you

Ayurvedic Prescription 1. Lakshadi Guggulu Dosage: 2 tablets twice daily. Time: After meals with warm water. 2. Gandha Tailam (Soft Gel Capsules) Dosage: 2 capsules twice daily. Time: Before meals with warm milk. 3. Tab Shallaki 1 tablet twice a day with warm water after food ✓Panchakarma Procedure (Crucial for AVN) Panchatikt Ksheer Basti (Medicated Milk Enema) Procedure: Following a gentle oil massage (Abhyanga) and localized steam therapy (Swedana) on the lower back and hips, a therapeutic enema consisting of bitter herbs (Tikta Rasa) processed in cow’s milk and ghee is administered. ✓Crucial lifestyle Rule Strictly minimize weight-bearing activities. Since walking worsens your pain, every unassisted step on a necrotic joint risks further collapse of the femoral head. You must begin using a walking stick on your healthy side (left side) immediately to offload the pressure from your painful right hip. Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

hello, Avascular necrosis has become a common leading problem in many men, especially after COVID-19 vaccination. if you are diagnosed with grade-2/3 AVN then you must have got advised for a surgery from doctors. But ayurveda gives promising results in AVN. Being an ayurvedic surgeon, i have now seen many patient of grade 2/3 AVN. My advise for you is that- if someone is telling you that it can be cured just with medicine, dont listen. You need to undergo a proper panchkarma regimn to get long time relief. and to give you the perfect panchkarma therapy, first it is important to diagnose if your AVN is due to kshayaj vikara or abhighataj vikar. so a proper history with the cause and starting of the disease is important. till then, you can take- shallaki tablet 600mg 3 times a day as a pain killer. for medicine regimen, first take 10 ml gandharvahastadi taila with milk at night (this will clean your gut) than take vaishwanar churan 5 gm twice a day before meals ( take this for 3 days - as it will increase your agni) after 3 days, stop vaishwanar churna and start kaishore guggulu 2 tablet twice a day with warm water (chew) brihat manjisthadi kwath 30 ml twice a day before meal ksheerbala taila soaked cotton on both hips ( overnight). if you need more detailed treatment, you can consult me anytime.
