Hello Neelam, A 15mm gallstone is quite large , and it may not dissolve with Ayurvedic medicines alone. While Ayurvedic remedies like Kalmegh, Turmeric, and Guggul can help relieve symptoms and support digestion, they usually cannot break down large stones. Punarnava and Triphala are also often used to support liver and gallbladder health. Surgery might be necessary if you experience severe pain, nausea, or other symptoms. If the stone blocks the bile duct, it can lead to serious complications. However, if you don’t have symptoms, doctors may suggest monitoring it regularly. It’s good that you’ve stopped eating oily and non-vegetarian foods. A high-fiber diet with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can help prevent further stone formation. Drinking plenty of water and exercising can also support your gallbladder health. It’s best to consult an Ayurvedic gastroenterologist for correct guidance along with all your reports as continuous monitoring is required. You can start with Syp Bhunimbadi 15 ml with 15 ml warm water before food twice as of now for a month to enhance your biles integrity as of now.

Hi Neelam,

Are you experiencing any pain, nausea, or indigestion related to the gallbladder stone? Do you have any other digestive issues, such as bloating or heartburn? Have you had any recent ultrasounds to check the size or condition of the stone?

While Ayurvedic remedies like Chandraprabha Vati, Punarnava, and Gokshura can support gallbladder health, it’s important to consult your doctor to avoid complications. Eating a high-fiber diet, staying hydrated, and avoiding fatty or processed foods are key to maintaining digestive health. However, stones larger than 10mm may require medical intervention, and it’s crucial to follow your healthcare provider’s guidance.

Gallbladder stones, particularly those measuring 15mm, can indeed be a concern and understanding your options is important. Ayurveda does provide some natural approaches to managing gallstones, depending on the characteristics of the stone and your overall health. In certain cases like yours, surgery might not be immediately necessary, but it does depend on the severity of symptoms you experience.

In Ayurveda, gallstones may be related to an imbalance in the body’s pitta dosha and agni (digestive fire). With appropriate lifestyle and dietary changes, some people see a reduction in symptoms, although completely dissolving large stones naturally can be quite challenging.

You’re on the right track by reducing oily and non-vegetarian food as these can exacerbate your condition – excess fats make the liver produce more cholesterol, which can aggravate stone formation. Aim for a diet rich in high-fiber foods, lots of vegetables, whole grains, and plenty of water to support your digestion.

You might consider incorporating herbs known for supporting liver and gallbladder health like Turmeric (Haridra), which has anti-inflammatory properties, and Kutki, which aids in liver function and bile secretion. All herbs should be used under guidance of a practitioner for safe use. Regular physical activity and yoga, particularly poses like Bhujangasana (Cobra pose) and Shalabasana (Locust pose), can also improve circulation and support digestive health.

However, it’s crucial not to ignore symptoms like severe pain, jaundice, or infections, as they can indicate serious complications requiring urgent care. In such cases, medical or surgical intervention could be necessary. Continuing to get frequent medical evaluations and ultrasounds will help you and your doctor monitor the situation.

Remember, a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner can tailor treatments to your unique needs, balancing doshas, agni, and dhatus. Just don’t delay seeking conventional care if you experience any worsening of symptoms suggesting complications. Your health is the priority, so ensure you maintain consultations with healthcare professionals to safely navigate your condition.
