Why is my nostril blocked at night? - #50956

I have sinus problem and money nostril gets blocked every night,the minute I'm up it opens up and no problem throughout the day. The frequency of cold attacks has reduced a lot as I have started doing pranayam daily.But why does my 1 nostril remain blocked in the night?

–At night, one nostril blocks because of the body’s natural nasal cycle. When we lie down, blood flow increases to one side due to gravity, causing temporary swelling. Once you get up, it opens again. Since there are no other symptoms, this is normal and not a concern.
–If it becomes constant during the day or is associated with pain or discharge, then we’ll evaluate further.
– for proper explanation visit to ent specialist for examination of is there any deviated septum , your can be sinus issues
