Your symptoms suggest a long-standing imbalance of Kapha and Pitta dosha along with weak digestion (Mandagni) and toxin accumulation (Ama). In Ayurveda, chronic tonsil stones, coated tongue, sour taste, foul breath, post-nasal drip, mucus formation, and heat in the feet are often connected to poor gut health, excess mucus production, chronic throat inflammation, and reflux-type imbalance. Because this has been present for nearly 10 years with digestive disturbance and fatigue, treatment should focus not only on the throat but also on correcting digestion and clearing accumulated toxins. Ayurvedic Management Diet & Lifestyle Strictly reduce mucus-forming foods: excess dairy, cheese, curd at night, cold drinks, refined sugar, fried foods, and bakery items. Avoid overeating and late dinners. Prefer warm, light meals: moong dal, cooked vegetables, old rice, ginger-jeera soups. Sip warm water through the day to reduce Kapha accumulation. Avoid sleeping immediately after meals. Reduce very sour, fermented, and spicy foods if acidity is strong. Helpful Ayurvedic Remedies Triphala at night — helps bowel cleansing and reduces Ama. Yashtimadhu (Licorice) or Khadiradi Vati — soothing for chronic throat irritation. Sitopaladi Churna with honey — useful for mucus and throat congestion. Gandhak Rasayan may help in chronic infection tendency and coated tongue. If acidity and sour taste are severe, cooling Pitta-balancing medicines may also be needed. Daily Practices Tongue cleaning every morning is essential. Warm salt water or turmeric gargles 1–2 times daily. Steam inhalation with plain water may reduce post-nasal drip. Oil pulling with sesame or coconut oil can help reduce oral coating and bad breath. Maintain proper hydration and regular bowel movement.
