Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.

I will explain your daughter’s symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in her body as a whole.

The mildly bulky adenoids enlargement is often linked to Kapha dosha imbalance, which can cause congestion and swelling in the respiratory tract. The treatment you’ve been following aims to reduce this Kapha accumulation and support her immune system.

The pricky heat rash on her face suggests an increase in Pitta dosha, which can manifest as heat or inflammation on the skin. This could be a result of internal heat generated by the medications or a reaction to one of the ingredients.

In Ayurveda, we view these symptoms not as isolated issues but as interconnected signs of systemic imbalance. The adenoids and skin condition may both reflect underlying dosha imbalances that need careful management.

To give doctors a precise and effective treatment plan, your answers to the questions below are essential. Without this information, the recommendations will be more general and less accurate.

Please answer each question as clearly as possible.

1. How long has your daughter been experiencing the heat rash? 2. Has your daughter experienced any other symptoms along with the rash, such as itching or a burning sensation? 3. How would you describe your daughter’s overall health during this treatment? Has there been any change in her energy levels or susceptibility to colds? 4. Have you noticed any specific triggers that seem to worsen the rash, such as certain foods or activities? 5. How regular are her bowel movements, and have you noticed any changes since starting the treatment? 6. Is there any time of day when the rash or other symptoms seem to worsen? 7. Has she experienced any changes in sleep patterns or mood since beginning the treatment?
