Persistent Throat Discomfort and Mucus Sensation - #52232

I have stuck feeling on throat from 50 days,no difficulty in eating & feeling of mucus stuck which is not coming out & sometime tightness feel in lower throat, with redness in back of throat wall with constant post nasaldrip,I have visited ent for 3 time ,lyrangoscopy done they said lpr but after medication no improvement made,cbc & thyroid report normal.

●Ayurvedic Gargles Turmeric-Salt Gargle: Warm water – 1 cup, turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon, rock salt – 7 teaspoons. Gargle morning and evening. What does it do? • Reduces inflammation • Neutralizes bacteria • Cleanses the lining of the throat This is not a modern antiseptic – it activates the body’s own healing mechanisms. ●Turmeric Milk Take 1/2 teaspoon turmeric in 1 cup of warm milk before bed. It • Soothes sore throat Activates immune cells • Prevents infection from within. No cold milk – only warm. ●Medicinal decoction Ginger - 2 parts Cinnamon - 2 parts Liquorice - 3 parts. Boil 1 teaspoon of this mixture in hot water for 5-10 minutes. Drink 2-3 times a day. Liquorice coats the throat, ginger breaks up phlegm, and cinnamon prevents infection. This not only soothes, it also improves mucus clearance. ●What to Avoid Avoid these foods when you have a sore throat: • Paneer • Cheese • Ice cream • Sour and fermented foods Why? Because these increase phlegm and worsen throat inflammation. (Hot milk with turmeric is an exception.) ●Yoga and Breathing Lion Pose opens the veins and lymphatic system in the throat. Bhramari Pranayama (Humming Breath) clears the vocal cords and sinuses through vibration. This isn’t just exercise—it’s neuro-immune therapy.

Namaste, Your symptoms — persistent throat discomfort, mucus sensation, post-nasal drip, and tightness with normal reports — indicate ongoing irritation of the throat, often linked with reflux (LPR) and kapha accumulation along with digestive imbalance. The focus should be on reducing mucus, calming throat irritation, and improving digestion. Avoid cold drinks, curd (especially at night), fried and heavy foods. Prefer warm, light meals and sip warm water throughout the day. Avoid late-night eating and lie down only after 2–3 hours of meals. Reduce tea/coffee and spicy foods if they increase irritation. Steam inhalation once daily can help reduce throat congestion. Keep digestion light and regular. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Avipattikar Churna – 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water Sitopaladi Churna – ½ teaspoon, twice daily with honey after food Yashtimadhu Churna – ½ teaspoon, once daily with warm water or honey These are traditionally used to reduce throat irritation, control reflux tendency, and help clear excess mucus when combined with proper diet and routine.
