From an Ayurvedic point of view, your symptoms suggest Kapha–Vata imbalance mainly affecting the Urdhva Jatrugata region (nose, throat, sinuses). -Chronic nasal blockage and sinusitis → excess Kapha accumulation (Peenas / sinus congestion) -Throat pain, dryness, pain on speaking → Vata aggravation due to obstruction and dryness -Food triggers like dry fruits → further increase Vata and irritate the throat -Post-nasal drip tendency → Kapha dripping into throat causing irritation and cough ----Overall, this is a Kapha-dominant sinus disorder with secondary Vata aggravation in the throat (Kantha Shosha / Kantha Shula). ----Rx: 1) Anu Taila Nasya – 2 drops each nostril daily after steam 2) Sitopaladi Churna – 1 tsp with honey BD after food 3) Dhanwantharam Gulika – 1 tab BD after food with warm water 4) Dasamoolarishtam – 15 ml BD after food with warm water 5) Aimil Fifatrol Tablet – 1 tab BD after food —Advice: Avoid dry fruits, cold exposure; take steam inhalation; warm fluids; nasal hygiene. – for 15 days then follow up
My sore throat increases with steam inhalation
Instead of steam → use internal snehana + nasya + mild warmth, because your throat is already inflamed, not congested alone, so u can avoid steam inhalation
