I have been feeling stressed and experiencing a constant strain in my forehead ever since I moved to Himachal Pradesh from Maharashtra. I also have sinus problems and do feel strain in my eyes also. Because of this, I feel stressed all the time and am unable to relax.

In Ayurveda, this condition is often linked with chronic sinus imbalance and mental fatigue. You can try the following Ayurvedic measures: Do gentle steam inhalation once daily with plain water or a small pinch of ajwain to reduce sinus blockage. Apply warm sesame oil or Anu taila lightly inside the nostrils in the morning (Nasya) to keep nasal passages moist and reduce dryness from cold weather. Drink warm water throughout the day and avoid refrigerated foods, curd at night, cold drinks, and excessive tea/coffee. Take turmeric milk at night or herbal teas with tulsi and ginger for better immunity and relaxation. For forehead and eye strain, gently massage the scalp and forehead with Brahmi oil or Ksheerabala oil before sleep. Practice simple breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari for 10–15 minutes daily to calm stress and improve oxygen flow. Maintain regular sleep timing and reduce screen exposure at night. Ayurvedic medicines often used in such conditions under guidance include Sitopaladi churna, Pathyadi kwath, Brahmi, or stress-supportive herbs like Ashwagandha.

Pathyadi Kadha :- 15ml medicine with same amount of water after food both time helps specifically with vascular and sinus-related headaches. 3.Immune Support: Since you have recently moved, take Chyawanprash or Agastya Haritaki Lehyam to help your respiratory system adapt to the new altitude. ​4. Dietary Adjustments for High Altitude ​Avoid: Curd, bananas, cold drinks, and heavy sweets, especially after sunset, as these increase Kapha. ​Include: Warm water (Ushnodaka) throughout the day. Add spices like black pepper, ginger, and cinnamon to your meals to maintain “Agni” (digestive fire) and prevent mucus buildup. ​5. Prana and Relaxation ​Anulom Vilom Pranayama: This is the best practice for balancing the flow of Prana in the sinuses. Practice for 10 minutes in a draft-free room. •​Bhramari Pranayama: The vibration from the “humming bee” breath helps dislodge mucus from the frontal sinuses and significantly lowers stress levels.
