What is causing the persistent tightness and heaviness in my lower throat and ears? - #55720

It feels like a constant tightness or as if something is stuck there, though it doesn't seem to impact my ability to actually swallow food. Your symptoms may be related to throat muscle spasm / globus sensation, which commonly gets triggered by stress, acidity/reflux, or throat irritation. Ear heaviness can happen because the throat and ear areas are closely connected. Avoid very spicy foods, late-night meals, repeated throat clearing, and excess tea/coffee. Warm water and steam inhalation may help. Sutshekhar ras – 1 tablet twice daily after food Yashtimadhu churna – ½ tsp with warm water twice daily Avipattikar tablet – 1 tablet at bedtime if acidity is present If you develop difficulty swallowing, breathing issues, voice changes, or worsening pain, ENT evaluation is advised.
