The symptoms you describe like irregular periods, constipation, brain fog, and unusual hair growth can often be linked with hormonal imbalances, often seen in thyroid concerns. The throat pain and sensation of something stuck, coupled with the nodule found, indicate that Ayurvedic support might help, alongside any necessary conventional treatments. In Ayurveda, thyroid issues are often considered to be a disturbance in the Kapha and Pitta doshas, and the imbalance might effect your Agni (digestive fire), which could lead to many of your symptoms, including constipation and brain fog. Ensuring that your digestive fire is in balance is fundamental. Firstly, consider dietary changes. Favor warm, easy-to-digest foods like soups and stews, focusing on vegetables like carrots and asparagus, and grains like quinoa. Avoid cold, raw, or heavily processed foods as they can aggravate Kapha. It's crucial to include warming spices such as ginger, cumin, and black pepper which can help to stimulate the digestive fire and enhance metabolism. Regular exercise, appropriate to your energy levels, is also important. Walking or gentle yoga can aid in balancing doshas and improving mood and circulation, potentially reducing symptoms such as brain fog. Practicing daily self-massage (Abhyanga) with warm sesame oil can calm Vata dosha, soothe the nervous system, and support hair and skin health. To address hormonal imbalances, herbs like Ashwagandha and Shatavari may help, but should be taken under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure they suit your unique constitution. Consider doing regular Pranayama (breathing exercises) like Nadi Shodhana or Bhramari to reduce stress and improve mental clarity. Given your symptoms and the results of the tests, I advice consulting with your physician for a broader diagnosis that encompasses both allopathic and ayurvedic perspectives. It also seems wise to follow up on the nodule assessment with your healthcare provider to rule out any need for further intervention. Always listen to your body and seek professional help if something feels wrong.
