Ayurveda can complement your aunt’s recovery by boosting immunity, reducing inflammation, and improving overall well-being. Since she has completed chemotherapy and HIPEC and is on targeted therapy, the focus should be on detoxification, strengthening digestion, and rejuvenating the body. Here are some Ayurvedic suggestions: Ashwagandha: Helps reduce stress, improve energy, and support immunity. 1.Turmeric: A powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Best taken with black pepper for better absorption. 2.Guduchi will Strengthens immunity and detoxifies the body. Triphala: A gentle detoxifier that supports digestion and bowel health. Shatavari: Helps in hormonal balance and supports overall strength. Diet - 1Warm, Easily Digestible Foods: Soups, khichdi, boiled vegetables, and herbal teas. 2.Avoid Processed & Heavy Foods: Fried, overly spicy, or processed foods should be minimized. 3.Include Anti-Cancer Spices: Garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cumin, and coriander. Emotional and social well being shall be taken care.

Dr. Manjula
I am a dedicated Ayurveda practitioner with a deep-rooted passion for restoring health through traditional Ayurvedic principles. My clinical approach revolves around understanding the unique constitution (Prakruti) and current imbalance (Vikruti) of each individual. I conduct comprehensive consultations that include Prakruti-Vikruti Pareeksha, tongue examination, and other Ayurvedic diagnostic tools to identify the underlying causes of disease, rather than just addressing symptoms. My primary focus is on balancing the doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—through individualized treatment plans that include herbal medicines, therapeutic diets, and lifestyle modifications. I believe that healing begins with alignment, and I work closely with my patients to bring the body, mind, and spirit into harmony using personalized, constitution-based interventions. Whether managing chronic conditions or guiding preventive health, I aim to empower patients through Ayurvedic wisdom, offering not just relief but a sustainable path to well-being. My practice is rooted in authenticity, guided by classical Ayurvedic texts and a strong commitment to ethical, patient-centered care. I’m Dr. Prashant Kumar, a multi-specialty Ayurvedic doctor with over four years of experience in holistic and integrative healthcare. After earning my Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), I deepened my expertise through focused study in several specialties, including Panchakarma therapy, herbal pharmacology, sexual health, cosmetology, general medicine, and dietetics. My clinical practice blends time-tested Ayurvedic wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to offer personalized, results-driven care. My clinic is designed as a peaceful, healing space — a reflection of my belief that recovery begins in a calm, nurturing environment. I start each day with yoga and meditation, practices that help me stay grounded and attentive to every patient I see. I believe that effective treatment must go beyond physical symptoms, so my consultations involve a comprehensive assessment of emotional, mental, and lifestyle factors that influence health. I take a multi-disciplinary approach, often working closely with nutritionists, yoga practitioners, and wellness experts to build customized treatment plans. These may include herbal formulations, detox therapies like Panchakarma, dietary guidance, and lifestyle modifications tailored to each patient’s constitution or dosha. My work has helped patients manage and often reverse chronic conditions such as arthritis, gastrointestinal imbalances, skin disorders, metabolic issues, and stress-induced ailments. I’m deeply committed to educating my patients—not just about their current condition, but about how to maintain balance and long-term health through Ayurvedic principles. What sets my practice apart is my empathetic, patient-first approach. I’ve built strong, lasting relationships within the community, and I frequently conduct workshops on preventive care, Ayurvedic nutrition, seasonal wellness routines, and stress management. Ovarian cancer can indeed be a challenging journey, and it's great to hear your aunt doesn’t currently have symptoms. Ayurveda can play a supportive role alongside conventional treatments in maintaining her overall health and well-being. First, ensuring a balanced diet is crucial. Encourage her to consume fresh, organic fruits and vegetables that are high in antioxidants. These can help to boost immunity and support detoxification. Seasonal vegetables, cooked with light spices like turmeric and ginger, aid in promoting digestion and reducing inflammation, which can be quite beneficial post-chemotherapy. Whole grains like brown rice and millet are easier on digestion, and she might want to include them as staples in her meals. Focus on maintaining her Agni (digestive fire), as this is central to health in Ayurveda. Simple practices such as drinking warm water throughout the day can aid digestion. Prepare teas using cumin, coriander seeds, and fennel to sip after meals; this can improve digestion and support metabolism. Also, giving a her a glass of warm water mixed with a teaspoon of honey and a few drops of lemon juice early in the morning can help stimulate digestion and improve metabolism. Ayurvedic herbs can be considered, but it’s essential to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for specific recommendations tailored to her constitution (Prakriti) and current health state. Herbs like Ashwagandha and Guduchi are occasionally recommended for improving vitality and immune response, but dosages and suitability are key. Gentle exercise, such as yoga or walking, especially in fresh air, can be beneficial for her physical and mental well-being. A daily routine that incorporates mindfulness practices like meditation or Pranayama (breathing exercises) can reduce stress and support emotional balance. Prioritize regular follow-ups with her oncologist to stay updated on her cancer markers and overall condition. This ensures any medical interventions are timely, and she remains under professional care. Empower her to maintain a stress-free environment, surround herself with positivity, and engage in activities that she enjoys and finds fulfilling. Never hesitate to integrate her Ayurvedic practices with ongoing allopathic treatments, as the holistic approach can often bring enhanced wellness. Tailoring recommendations to her unique needs and preferences will sustain her in a balanced state of health and well-being.
