My child is 11 years old and weighs 30kg. His height is 152cm. I sm really concerned about his weight as he is very skinny. Also he has problems with focusing for long. Please prescribe what should be done

Offer warm milk with a pinch of turmeric or almonds at night, which can aid in calming the mind and improving focus. Include fruits like bananas and mangoes, which are strengthening.
Secondly, ensure regular meals, as skipping can aggravate vata. Encourage eating at the same time each day to regulate Agni, or digestive fire. Good protein sources include lentils, paneer, and eggs. It's important to have variety but also consistency in the diet.
Physical activity is essential, but it should be calming rather than over-stimulating. Activities such as yoga or swimming promote both focus and physical strength. Consider introducing a daily routine that includes gentle yoga asanas like Tadasana and Vajrasana - these help improve concentration and agility.
Encourage regular sleep patterns. Ensure he gets 9-11 hours of sleep to help manage energy levels and cognitive function. Limit screen time before bed, which can disrupt sleep and focus.
If he finds it hard to concentrate, Brahmi is an excellent herb for enhancing memory and sharpness. A Brahmi syrup or oil, used regularly, can be quite beneficial. However, consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner to determine the right dosage and form.
Lastly, it is vital to keep stress levels at bay. A supportive, stress-free environment promotes mental clarity. Regular practice of breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom can help in maintaining calm and focus.
