Avoid giving milk just before sleep Cover ears using pads during sleeping Minimum using of chocolates, milky food items, sweet food items, ice creams, biscuits and cold water Ensure deworming once in a month Process of deworming:Give Tablet Krimigna vati (1-0-0) early morning 6 am and luke warm water followed by it.Motion starts to pass after 1 hour(depends on the bodynature the time may vary from few minutes earlier or later). After 2 to 3 times of smooth evacuation, give gruel water adding a little amount of salt.Ask the child about the appetite and if child is getting tired,by noon give them gruel with some spicy curries preferably rasam( adding ginger, garlic).By evening rice or easily digesting food itmes can be given. On the day make sure no other heavy food items are taking. Its better to avoid continuos using of triphala, because it may cause constipation. Consult an ENT specialist and do a thorough examination of ears, nose and throat for any blockages.
It sounds like like you’re dealing with a couple of concerns here, primarily your child’s sleep issues and the history of worm infestation. Both can indeed impact his overall well-being.
First, regarding the sleep disturbances, it’s essential to investigate possible underlying causes. An irregular routine or stress can sometimes affect a child’s sleep. Establishing a consistent bedtime routine with calming activities, like reading or gentle music, might help promote better sleep. Also, ensure the sleeping environment is comfortable and quiet, ideally free from electronic gadgets which can disrupt the sleep cycle.
About his response time when you call him at night, it’s common for deeper phases of sleep to make someone less responsive. But if you’re concerned there’s more to it, a pediatric sleep specialist might be valuable to consult.
Considering the past history of worms, Ayurveda suggests specific herbs and lifestyle changes for managing them. Vidanga (Embelia ribes) is a traditional herb renowned for its effectiveness against intestinal worms. Consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner, though, to get the right dosage and advice is important. They might suggest an appropriate regime depending on your child’s constitution and needs. Keeping hygiene and dietary habits in check is wisdom here—cooked vegetables, clean water, and firm hygiene practices are advised.
As for triphala, yes, it can be quite safe for children, even at 10. It can help maintain digestive health, which is crucial for overall well-being. A mild dose—about a quarter teaspoon mixed in warm water, once a day—may help regulate digestion, but it’s best to consult your Ayurvedic practitioner to tailor to your child’s specific prakriti (constitution).
Finally, if any symptoms persist or cause concern, seek immediate medical advice. Balancing traditional wisdom with modern medical care ensures the best for your child’s health.
