Endometriosis can sometimes lead to pain in the lower back and sides, which might explain your discomfort in the lower left region. This often relates to imbalance in the Vata dosha, particularly Apana Vayu, which governs reproductive organs and lower abdomen. Addressing this imbalance could help alleviate the pain. Firstly, consider some lifestyle adjustments to pacify Vata. Regularity is key, so try warming to a daily routine that prioritizes relaxation and ease. Gentle yoga and stretching, especially poses that target the lower back, can ease tension. Incorporate deep breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom to soothe both body and mind. Diet is crucial to managing Vata. Include warm, cooked foods in your diet - those that are easy to digest; think soups, stews, and porridges. Prioritize sweet, sour, and salty flavors which naturally pacify Vata. Stay away from cold or raw foods and excessive caffeine, as these can aggravate dryness and tension associated with Vata imbalances. For a natural approach to birth control, consider NFP, or Natural Family Planning, which involves tracking your fertility signals like temperature and cervical mucus changes. This requires careful attentiveness and may not be suitable for everyone. Discuss thoroughly with a healthcare provider to ensure it's appropriate. Ayurvedic alternatives like the use of neem oil or certain herbal preparations also exist, but their efficacy and safety are not well studied. While you're using Microgynon, it's important not to stop suddenly without medical advice. Concerns over birth control and cancer risk should be discussed with a doctor who can offer personalized guidance on this. For your body aches, self-massage with warm sesame oil can be soothing. Always prioritize safety and consult a healthcare professional about any new treatment changes or concerns, especially due to cancer worries or severe pain. Balance and informed choices are key to better health.
