Hyperthyroidism can indeed be a challenging condition to manage, but integrating Ayurvedic principles can provide some support alongside conventional treatment. Just to touch on your TSH levels, a value like 0.016 indicates hyperthyroidism, meaning your thyroid is overactive.

Now, coriander seeds can be quite beneficial in balancing Pitta dosha, which in hyperthyroidism may be aggravated. Having coriander seed water might be helpful due to its calming and cooling properties. To prepare, take about a teaspoon of coriander seeds, boil them in a cup of water until the quantity is reduced by half, and then consume this on an empty stomach in the morning. However, consider it a supplementary aid rather than a standalone treatment.

Regarding your diet, aim to focus on foods that have cooling and nourishing properties. Favor foods like sweet, hydrating fruits such as melons, and include naturally cooling veggies like cucumber and leafy greens. Also, go for whole grains like rice or quinoa. Healthy fats in moderation, such as those in avocados, can also offer benefits.

In Ayurveda, each person’s Prakriti (constitution) and Vikriti (imbalanced state) are taken into account to tailor treatment. Hence, consultation with an Ayurvedic physician is advisable. They can provide you insights into more personalized treatments based on your unique constitution and current symptoms.

It’s crucial to note that hyperthyroidism can lead to serious health issues if not properly managed, and regular consultation with an endocrinologist is vital. Ayurvedic remedies like the coriander seed water can be used as a supportive measure, but not a replacement for standard care.

Lastly, remember that any abrupt change in diet or lifestyle should be consulted with your healthcare provider to avoid potential interactions or side effects, especially since each person’s body responds uniquely to dietary changes.
