With over 18 years of dedicated Ayurvedic practice, I have focused extensively on treating skin and hair disorders, integrating classical Panchakarma therapies with individualized care. A major aspect of my clinical approach involves Upakarma procedures—supportive therapies within Panchakarma—which I customize based on each patient’s Prakriti (constitutional type). I believe true healing begins when treatments are aligned with the body’s natural balance, and this philosophy guides every aspect of my work. My specialization includes the preparation and use of Ayurvedic formulations that I personally design, including face packs, hair packs, body oils, and facial oils—each one carefully selected and recommended according to the patient’s specific dosha and skin/hair condition. These formulations are result-oriented and rooted in time-tested Ayurvedic principles, ensuring safe, natural, and sustainable outcomes. In my practice, Ayurvedic facials are more than just cosmetic procedures; they are therapeutic treatments tailored to the unique constitution of each individual, aiming to restore inner and outer harmony. By incorporating dosha-based skincare routines and traditional beauty therapies, I help patients achieve visible improvement in conditions like pigmentation, acne, hair fall, and premature aging—without relying on chemical-based solutions. My goal is to blend classical Ayurveda with a practical, patient-focused approach. Whether managing chronic skin concerns, offering customized herbal solutions, or delivering rejuvenative Panchakarma therapies, I ensure each treatment is deeply personalized, holistic, and rooted in authentic Ayurvedic wisdom.

For a male patient who has undergone bilateral total knee replacement and is experiencing low hemoglobin levels at 9.4 g/dL, incorporating Kulekhara juice (Hygrophila spinosa) can be beneficial. Kulekhara is known for its rich iron content, and it can indeed aid in improving hemoglobin levels. For someone in recovery, like the patient you mentioned, starting with a moderate dosage is wise. Around 50 ml of freshly extracted Kulekhara juice once a day is advisable. Ensure it is consumed on an empty stomach, ideally in the morning, as this can optimize absorption and effectiveness. Yet, it is crucial not to overdo it. Monitoring the patient's response is key – look out for any changes in bowel habits or digestive discomfort. This herbal juice can be utilized continuously for about 4 to 6 weeks. After this period, it's wise to reassess hemoglobin levels and overall health with a healthcare provider. Continuous use beyond this shouldn’t be done without further medical guidance, as Ayurvedic herbs need to be balanced with individual health needs and responses. Additionally, supporting the patient's overall diet with foods rich in iron and vitamin C will enhance the absorption. Include green leafy vegetables, pomegranate, beets, and citrus fruits to increase iron uptake. Also ensure the diet is aligned with the patient's digestive capacity, as a stable Agni will support the assimilation of nutrients. During recovery from a knee surgery, one should not focus solely on hemoglobin levels, but also on maintaining overall strength and vitality. Adequate rest, gentle exercises as prescribed by the physician, and nursing care will all play a role. It’s important to closely surveil the patient’s recovery curve. Be sure regular follow-ups are maintained with healthcare professionals to monitor and adjust the treatment plan as necessary. And if any unexpected or alarming symptoms arise, seek prompt medical attention to ensure patient safety and well-being.
