In your situation, things sound pretty tough. With the bulkiness, heavy bleeding, and the symptoms you're dealing with, it's understandable to wonder if an Ayurvedic treatment is enough or it's time for something more decisive like a hysterectomy. Okay, so here's how Ayurveda approaches something like adenomyosis and fibroids: it's often seen as a Kapha and Vata imbalance. The idea is usually about addressing these imbalances and enhancing Agni (digestive and metabolic fire), which is a bit technical but bear with me. First, if you're willing to continue with Ayurveda, you might consider specific herbs like Ashoka, which traditionally supports uterine health, or Lodhra which can help in regulating menstrual flow. Yoga postures, particularly forward bends like Paschimottanasana, might provide some relief. But, I’d be cautious about strenuous activity with your symptoms. Also don't underestimate diet. Sometimes small changes make big impacts. Warm nutritious foods, cooked with digestive spices like cumin and ginger might alleviate some of your symptoms. Light, non-heavy meals are preferable to avoid aggravating Kapha. However, considering your symptoms – fainting, clots, and especially the impact on daily life – it's significant to recognize the potential severity. If this is disrupting everything and feels like you're nearing a breaking point, a hysterectomy could indeed be a wise option. The hereditary aspect of late menopause is something, but it’s crucial to weigh that against current quality of life. Consulting regularly with both an Ayurvedic practitioner and gynaecologist may give a balanced view. If you go for surgery becuz of the dangers of sustained blood loss or other severe issues, listen to your body. Ayurveda and modern medicine often work well together. Ultimately, it's about creating a situation where you aren't just coping, but actually thriving. Take care.
