I think its Migraine.,olso can b stress indused.
Migrain pain is Throbbing or pinching pain on one or both sides Often lasts 1–3 days Increases with light exposure. This all is due to increased bodily heat.which strikes the head. With painkillers instantly try 1.Applying paste of sandalwood + rose water on the forehead – cools Pitta
2.nasya (nasal drops): 2 drops of warm Anu Taila in each nostril every morning and at time of sleep. 1.Godanti Bhasma + Sitopaladi Churna –mix both in equal quantities and take half spoon with honey and warm water.
2.Sutshekhar Ras –1-0-1
3.Take Triphala churna at bedtime (½ tsp with warm water) 4.Jiva stress free tablet - 2- 0-2 with normal temperature milk .
5.Drink coriander + fennel + cumin tea 2x daily – balances digestion and heat
Recurrent and frequent headache which is not relieved by pain killers and it is lasting for 2-3 days then it can be due to migraine , sinusitis related headache or rebound headache as you mentioned it is not due to cervical so firstly to know the exact cause you can consult neuro doctor
But in Ayurveda if you take proper medication for long time like almost 2 months you will get good results in this type of headache
Treatment include 1) daily Nasya - instilling 2-2 drops of Anutaila or shadbindu taila in each nostril daily in morning 2) daily head massage with ksheerabala taila 3)Brahmi or shankhapushpi syrup - for stress management 15 ml at night 4) Avoid skipping meals and taper your sleep pattern 5) avoid screen time 2 hours before sleep 10:00 pm go to bed and atleast take good sleep for 7-8 hours 6) for severe headache you can take shunti (dry ginger) churna mix with water and apply at forehead you will get instant relief 7) take pathyadi kadha 15ml thrice a day with water after food
If you are suffering from any digestive issue you can take triphala churna 3gm with warm water daily at night
Maintain headache dairy 1) onset 2) time of onset 3) duration 4) pain area and type 5) trigger points like food, specific weather , stress, tension , temperature, etc) 6) tried and tested relief method
Reduce or stop usage of pcm Gradually reduce taking PCM
THANK YOU
Avoid chilled and spicy food. Tab.Brahmi 1-0-1 Tab.Guduchi 1-0-1 Tab.Dashmool ghanvati 2-0-2

When dealing with frequent headaches, it’s important to approach them holistically and not just rely on painkillers, especially if they’re becoming less effective. From an Ayurvedic perspective, headaches can stem from multiple causes such as Vata or Pitta dosha imbalances. Considering your symptoms—persistent pain, feeling pinched pain—it might be a predominance of Pitta imbalance.
First, we need to cool down that Pitta. Start with diet. Avoid pungent, spicy, sour, and salty foods as they can aggravate Pitta. Go for cool, sweet, and soothing foods like cucumber, watermelon, pomegranate, and coconut water. Always opt for fresh meals, nothing too greasy neither overly cooked. Drink plenty of lukewarm water through the day to stay hydrated.
Try introducing Chandrodaya Vati, to your regimen: a classic ayurvedic preparation known for balancing Pitta and soothing the mind. Take 1 tablet twice a day after meals with fresh water.
On the lifestyle front, stress management is key. Engage in relaxing activities like yoga or meditation; focus on deep breathing exercises, you could try Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (alternate nostril breathing), which can help in calming the mind. Also, establish a regular sleep routine. Ensure you’re getting enough rest at consistent times as irregular sleeping patterns can trigger headaches.
For immediate relief during a headache episode, prepare a paste of sandalwood powder with a little water and apply it on your forehead. Let it stay for about 15-20 minutes. The cooling nature of sandalwood will help soothe the distraction.
Since your headaches are frequent and prolonged, it’s crucial to continue monitoring the situation. If they persist or worsen, it’s best to seek further medical evaluation, ensuring there aren’t any underlying conditions that require distinct attention. Ayurveda can offer a robust support system for wellness, but don’t hesitate to combine it with necessary conventional medical care if needed.
