Doctors’ responses

Hello tirtha, Your case involves multiple fertility impacting factors that need to be handled gently but effectively.

Low AMH- Suggests reduced egg reserve. Doesn’t mean pregnancy is impossible , but conception may take time and needs strong ovarian support

Hormonal imbalance- can distrup ovulation and endometrial lining health

Diabetes- impacts egg quality and uterine receptivity

Heavy bleeding- points to uterine inflammation or residual fibroid effects

Tubal history- even post surgery , tubes may not to be fully functional

Age factor- natural egg decline occurs, so time sensitive strategy is key.

According to ayurveda, 1)Low AMH- dhatukshaya (depletion of shukra dhatu and Artava), often due to age, stress, toxins, irregular food/sleep, chronic illness=reduced quality and quantity of egg.ovulation may still happen if cycle is regular

2) Hornonal imbalance - vitiation of Vata(apana), and pitta irregular Artavavaha srotas, disturbed hypothalamic- pitutary-ovarian axis= delayed/missed ovulation, weak endometrium , PCOS/bleeding tendency

3)Dibates( type 2)- Madhumeha due to kapha + vata aggravation, Agni Mandya->dhatu kshaya (including shukra dhatu)= affects egg quality, delays implantation increases miscarriage risk

4)Heavy periods- raktapradara due to uterine congestion (pitta- rakta aggravation, leftover fibroid/lining trauma)= Anemia, fatigue, weak uterine lining

5) post surgical tubal issue- scarring may remain despite surgery= natural conception depends in whether at least 1 tube is open

6) Low hb- rakta dhatu kshaya->poor energy, poor follicle nourishment= weak ovulation and embryo nutrition

#Treatment goals 1)Revive ovaries+increase egg quality 2)balance reproductive hormones(FSH,LH,ESTROGEN,PROGESTERONE) 3) stop heavy bleeding + rebuild blood 4) regulate diabetes with rasayana (rejuvenation) 5) prepare uterus to hold pregnancy naturally 6) enhance natural conception chances within 6 months

#PHASE - WISE AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT PLAN

PHASE 1- detox+ foundation Duration- month 1-2 Focus- cleanse system, prepare ovaries and uterus , stabilise hormones and sugar

1) Putranjeevak + shivlingi beej churna- 1gm each with honey on empty stomach = Egg nourishment and ovarian rejuvenation

2) Ashokarista (dootpapeshwar brand) - 15ml+15ml water twice after food= hormone balance, cycle correction

3)Chandraprabha vati- 1 tab twice a day after food=antioxidant and insulin control

4) Nishaamalaki churna- 3gms at bedtime with warm water=sugar, pcod, cysts

5) Punarnava mandur- 2 tabs daily+ pomegranate juice (50ml)=blood builder

6)Arogyavardhini vati- 1 tab daily, improves estrogen clearance after lunch

Yoga(daily,30 min) -baddhakonsana- butterfly pose -paschimottanasana- forward bend -Setu bandhasana- bridge pose -viparita karani- legs up pose

Pranayam -Anulom vilom- 7 min -bhramari- 5 min -ujjayi- 5 mins

#PHASE 2- FERTILITY ACTIVATION duration - 3-4 month Focus- ovulation support+endometrial strength + blood and energy restoration

1)Phal ghrita (AVN/kottakal)- 5ml in warm milk morning empty stomach =Ovulation and egg health

2)Shatavari kalpa (zandu) - 1 tsp with warm milk at night =fertility rejuvenation

3) Ashwagandha churna - 5gm with milk at bedtime= improve endometrial lining

4) Optional if irregular periods Rajapravartini(5 days before period date) - 1 tab twice daily = hormonal support

Start ovulation tracking(Day 10-18 of your cycle) Use LH ovulation strips daily. Have intercourse every alternate day in fertile window

#PHASE 3- conception support Duration- month 5-6 Continue- Putranjeevak +shivlingi Chandraprabha vati Shatavari+ashwagandha Add dashmoolarista = 15 mL post meals to stabilise uterus after ovulation

insert a tampon soaked in warm Arjuna ghrita post intercourse- once a week during ovulation week only

#DIET- fertility and diabetes balance Must include- -2 soaked walnuts+5 soaked almonds+1 tsp flaxseed daily -cow ghee-1 tsp/day -turmeric milk at night -iron rich - cooked spinach, pomegranate, beet root, jaggery water -warm foods only- avoid raw salads/cold smoothies

#AVOID -High sugar= sweets, bakery, juices -Estrogen blockers=soy, flax in excess -Uterine irritants =cold water, pineapple, papaya -Gut disrupts = fermented food, milk+salt combo, maida

Hello TIRTHAA DEY

Thank you for reaching out and trusting this platform with your health journey. I truly understand how emotionally and physically exhausting. It can be to face fertility challenges, especially after multiple medical interventions. Let me offer you guidance based on Ayurvedic principles aimed as strengthening your reproductive health, naturally gently and holistically

From ayurvedic point of view your symptoms — Low AMH, prolonged, heavy bleeding, hormonal imbalance is diabetes and a history of fibroids and tuber blockage— points to a long standing imbalance in rasa dhatu ( nutritional fluid),Ariana dhatu (reproductive tissues) and aggravated vata and pitta doshas … this imbalances disturb the menstrual cycle, ovulation and nourishment of the uterus, reducing fertility

Low haemoglobin and diabetes, further, weaken ojas the vital essence, responsible for immunity, strength, and reproductive vitality

Our focus in Ayurveda will be to —

Nourish and strengthen artava dhatu (reproductive tissue) Regularise hormonal functions naturally Balance Vata- pitta to stabilise the cycle Improve Ojas and uterine reactivity Support ovulation and egg equality Control blood, sugar, and bleeding

Diet and lifestyle recommendations —

Avoid spicy, oily, fermented, and stale food

Eat warm cook nourishing foods like moong dal, red rice, GHEE and seasonal vegetables Include black sesame, dry dates and pomegranate juice

Whole body massage with warm sesame oil weekly three times

Avoid late night, stress, assistive screen time, and cold foods

Practice gentle yoga pranayama meditation daily

Ayurvedic medicines — Shatavari churna-half teaspoon with warm milk twice daily after food

Asoka aristha-4 tsp with equal quantity of water twice daily after food Chandraprabha vati -tablet, twice daily after food with warm water Kumarasava-4 teaspoon with equal quantity of water twice daily after

Phalagritam-1 teaspoon with warm milk in the morning on empty stomach(it’s strengthen the uterus and improves fertility) Punarnavadi mandoora (iron rich formulation to increase haemoglobin) one tablet to be taken with water

as Ayurveda treats from the root cause it takes time, but definitely within few weeks you’re going to see positive changes in your body. Fertility challenges can indeed be frustrating, especially when balancing different health concerns like hormonal imbalances, low AMH, and diabetes. It’s important to address these issues holistically, understanding the Ayurvedic perspectives can be beneficial too.

Firstly, let’s consider the hormonal imbalance and prolonged heavy bleeding. Ayurveda connects such symptoms with Vata and Pitta imbalances, often aggravated by lifestyle. Begin by implementing Dinacharya (daily routine) to stabilize Vata and soothe Pitta. Regularity in sleep, wake times, meals, and moderate exercise can be balancing. Favoring sweet, moist, and cooling foods like cooked vegetables and grains might help. Avoid spicy and sour foods as they can increase Pitta.

Concerning low AMH, the aim is to nourish Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue), emphasized with a diet enhancing fertility. Include ghee, milk, nuts, and seeds in your meals. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are both recommended herbs that may support reproductive health and should be taken under guidance of of a qualified Ayurvedic practicioner.

As for diabetes, it’s critical to manage blood sugar levels diligently to aid overall health. Integrating herbs like Neem and Gurmar, along with Methi (fenugreek), can help. Again consulting an expert is essential before incorporating these herbal supplements.

Stress reduction and emotional wellbeing significantly impact fertility. Practice daily meditation or yoga, which can help calm the mind and body.

With prolonged heavy bleeding, utilizing Tila oil for regular abhyanga (self-massage) and herbs like Ashoka and Lodhra could offer relief, but please check with a specialist.

Since you’d like to conceive naturally while managing these health issues, maintaining regular consultations with both your Ayurvedic practitioner and a fertility specialist can be crucial. They can ensure a tailored approach aligning closely with your health needs. Remember, patience and consistent care often bear fruits - so stay positive and nourish yourself holistically.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where I’ve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really are—when used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. That’s kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I don’t jump to giving a long list of medicines straight away—first I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers what… basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the plan—herbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes they’re tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I don’t just look at the symptom—I think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka that’ll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. That’s made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circle—cleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What I’m hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple tools—ahara, vihara, aushadha—used consistently, with some trust in the body’s own healing. I’m still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health again—that’s what keeps me rooted to this.

Dr. Hemanshu Mehta
I am Dr. Hemanshu—right now a 2nd year MD scholar in Shalya Tantra, which basically means I’m training deep into the surgical side of Ayurveda. Not just cutting and stitching, btw, but the whole spectrum of para-surgical tools like Agnikarma, Viddhakarma, and Kshara Karma... these aren’t just traditional, they’re super precise when done right. I’m not saying I know everything yet (still learning every day honestly), but I do have solid exposure in handling chronic pain issues, muscle-joint disorders, and anorectal conditions like piles, fissures, fistulas—especially where modern treatments fall short or the patient’s tired of going through loops. During clinical rounds, I’ve seen how even simple Kshara application or well-timed Agnikarma can ease stuff like tennis elbow or planter fasciatis, fast. But more than the technique, I feel the key is figuring what matches the patient’s constitution n lifestyle... like one-size-never-fits-all here. I try to go beyond the complaint—looking into their ahar, sleep, stress levels, digestion, and just how they feel in general. That part gets missed often. I honestly believe healing isn’t just a “procedure done” kind of thing. I try not to rush—spend time on pre-procedure prep, post-care advice, what diet might help the tissue rebuild faster, whether they’re mentally up for it too. And no, I don’t ignore pathology reports either—modern diagnostic tools help me stay grounded while applying ancient methods. It’s not this vs that, it’s both, when needed. My aim, tbh, is to become the kind of Ayurvedic surgeon who doesn't just do the work but understands why that karma or technique is needed at that point in time. Every case teaches me something new, and that curiosity keeps me moving.

Dr. Ayush Varma
I am an Ayurvedic physician with an MD from AIIMS—yeah, the 2008 batch. That time kinda shaped everything for me... learning at that level really forces you to think deeper, not just follow protocol. Now, with 15+ years in this field, I mostly work with chronic stuff—autoimmune issues, gut-related problems, metabolic syndrome... those complex cases where symptoms overlap n patients usually end up confused after years of going in circles. I don’t rush to treat symptoms—I try to dig into what’s actually causing the system to go off-track. I guess that’s where my training really helps, especially when blending classical Ayurveda with updated diagnostics. I did get certified in Panchakarma & Rasayana therapy, which I use quite a lot—especially in cases where tissue-level nourishment or deep detox is needed. Rasayana has this underrated role in post-illness recovery n immune stabilization, which most people miss. I’m pretty active in clinical research too—not a full-time academic or anything, but I’ve contributed to studies on how Ayurveda helps manage diabetes, immunity burnout, stress dysregulation, things like that. It’s been important for me to keep a foot in that evidence-based space—not just because of credibility but because it keeps me from becoming too rigid in practice. I also get invited to speak at wellness events n some integrative health conferences—sharing ideas around patient-centered treatment models or chronic care via Ayurvedic frameworks. I practice full-time at a wellness centre that’s serious about Ayurveda—not just the spa kind—but real, protocol-driven, yet personalised medicine. Most of my patients come to me after trying a lot of other options, which makes trust-building a huge part of what I do every single day.

Dr. Surya Bhagwati
I am a Senior Ayurveda Physician with more than 28 years in this field — and trust me, it still surprises me how much there is to learn every single day. Over these years, I’ve had the chance to treat over 1 lakh patients (probably more by now honestly), both through in-person consults and online. Some come in with a mild cough, others with conditions no one’s been able to figure out for years. Each case brings its own rhythm, and that’s where real Ayurveda begins. I still rely deeply on classical tools — *Nadi Pariksha*, *Roga-Rogi Pariksha*, proper *prakriti-vikriti* mapping — not just ticking symptoms into a list. I don’t believe in ready-made cures or generic charts. Diagnosis needs attention. I look at how the disease behaves *inside* that specific person, which doshas are triggering what, and where the imbalance actually started (hint: it’s usually not where the pain is). Over the years I’ve worked with pretty much all age groups and all kinds of health challenges — from digestive upsets & fevers to chronic, autoimmune, hormonal, metabolic and degenerative disorders. Arthritis, diabetes, PCOD, asthma, thyroid... but also things like unexplained fatigue or joint swelling that comes and goes randomly. Many of my patients had already “tried everything else” before they walked into Ayurveda, and watching their systems respond slowly—but surely—is something I don’t take lightly. My line of treatment usually combines herbal formulations (classical ones, not trendy ones), Panchakarma detox when needed, and realistic dietary and lifestyle corrections. Long-term healing needs long-term clarity — not just short bursts of symptom relief. And honestly, I tell patients that too. I also believe patient education isn’t optional. I explain things. Why we’re doing virechana, why the oil changed mid-protocol, why we pause or shift the meds after a few weeks. I want people to feel involved, not confused. Ayurveda works best when the patient is part of the process, not just receiving instructions. Even now I keep learning — through texts, talks, patient follow-ups, sometimes even mistakes that taught me what not to do. And I’m still committed, still fully into it. Because for me, this isn’t just a job. It’s a lifelong responsibility — to restore balance, protect *ojas*, and help each person live in tune with themselves. That’s the real goal.

Dr. Anirudh Deshmukh
I am Dr Anurag Sharma, done with BAMS and also PGDHCM from IMS BHU, which honestly shaped a lot of how I approach things now in clinic. Working as a physician and also as an anorectal surgeon, I’ve got around 2 to 3 years of solid experience—tho like, every day still teaches me something new. I mainly focus on anorectal care (like piles, fissure, fistula stuff), plus I work with chronic pain cases too. Pain management is something I feel really invested in—seeing someone walk in barely managing and then leave with actual relief, that hits different. I’m not really the fancy talk type, but I try to keep my patients super informed, not just hand out meds n move on. Each case needs a bit of thinking—some need Ksharasutra or minor para surgical stuff, while others are just lifestyle tweaks and herbal meds. I like mixing the Ayurved principles with modern insights when I can, coz both sides got value really. It’s like—knowing when to go gentle and when to be precise. Right now I’m working hard on getting even better with surgical skills, but also want to help people get to me before surgery's the only option. Had few complicated cases where patience n consistency paid off—no shortcuts but yeah, worth it. The whole point for me is to actually listen first, like proper listen. People talk about symptoms but also say what they feel—and that helps in understanding more than any lab report sometimes. I just want to stay grounded in my work, and keep growing while doing what I can to make someone's pain bit less every day.

Dr. Prasad Pentakota
I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Dr. Snehal Vidhate
I am Dr. Snehal Vidhate, born n brought up in Maharashtra—and honestly, for as long as I remember I’ve felt this pull towards Ayurveda. Not the fancy version ppl throw around, but the deep, real kind that actually helps ppl. I did my BAMS from YMT Ayurvedic Medical College in Kharghar. That’s where I got my basics strong—like really studied the shastras, understood prakriti, doshas, the whole deal. Not just crammed theory but started to see how it shows up in real lives. After finishing BAMS, I got into this one-year certificate course at Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Delhi—honestly a turning point. I was super lucky to learn Kerala Ayurveda from my Guru, Prof. Dr. G.G. Gangadharan. He’s got this way of seeing things... simple but deep. That time with him taught me more than any textbook ever could. It kinda reshaped how I look at health, healing n how precise Ayurveda can be when you respect its roots. Right now I’m doing my MD in Panchakarma from SDM Ayurveda College, Bangalore. This place is like a hub for serious Ayurveda work. The Panchakarma training here? Super intense. We go deep into detoxification & rasayana therapy—not just theory again, but hands-on. I’m learning to blend classical techniques with today’s clinical demands.. like how to make Vamana or Basti actually doable in modern patient setups. My current practice is really about merging tradition with logic. Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

Dr. Manjula
I am an Ayurveda practitioner who’s honestly kind of obsessed with understanding what really caused someone’s illness—not just what hurts, but why it started in the first place. I work through Prakruti-Vikruti pareeksha, tongue analysis, lifestyle patterns, digestion history—little things most ppl skip over, but Ayurveda doesn’t. I look at the whole system and how it’s interacting with the world around it. Not just, like, “you have acidity, take this churna.” My main focus is on balancing doshas—Vata, Pitta, Kapha—not in a copy-paste way, but in a very personalized, live-and-evolving format. Because sometimes someone looks like a Pitta imbalance but actually it's their aggravated Vata stirring it up... it’s layered. I use herbal medicine, ahar-vihar (diet + daily routine), lifestyle modifications and also just plain conversations with the patient to bring the mind and body back to a rhythm. When that happens—healing starts showing up, gradually but strongly. I work with chronic conditions, gut imbalances, seasonal allergies, emotional stress patterns, even people who just “don’t feel right” anymore but don’t have a name for it. Prevention is also a huge part of what I do—Ayurveda isn’t just for after you fall sick. Helping someone stay aligned, even when nothing feels urgent, is maybe the most powerful part of this science. My entire practice is rooted in classical Ayurvedic texts—Charaka, Sushruta, Ashtanga Hridayam—and I try to stay true to the system, but I also speak to people where they’re at. That means making the treatments doable in real life. No fancy lists of herbs no one can find. No shloka lectures unless someone wants them. Just real healing using real logic and intuition together. I care about precision in diagnosis. I don’t rush that part. I take time. Because one wrong assumption and you’re treating the shadow, not the source. And that’s what I try to avoid. My goal isn’t temporary relief—it’s to teach the body how to not need constant fixing. When someone walks away lighter, clearer, more in tune with their system—that’s the actual win.

Dr. Narendrakumar V Mishra
I am a Consulting Ayurvedic Physician practicing since 1990—feels strange saying “over three decades” sometimes, but yeah, that’s the journey. I’ve spent these years working closely with chronic conditions that don’t always have clear answers in quick fixes. My main work has been around skin disorders, hair fall, scalp issues, and long-standing lifestyle stuff like diabetes, arthritis, and stress that kinda lingers under everything else. When someone walks into my clinic, I don’t jump to treat the problem on the surface. I start by understanding their *prakriti* and *vikriti*—what they’re made of, and what’s currently out of sync. That lets me build treatment plans that actually *fit* their system—not just push a medicine and hope it works. I use a mix of classical formulations, panchakarma if needed, dietary corrections, and slow, practical lifestyle changes. No overnight miracle talk. Just steady support. Hair fall and skin issues often feel cosmetic from outside—but internally? It’s about digestion, stress, liver, hormones... I’ve seen patients try 10+ things before landing in front of me. And sometimes they just need someone to *listen* before throwing herbs at the problem. That’s something I never skip. With arthritis and diabetes too, I take the same root-cause path. I give Ayurvedic medicines, but also work with *dinacharya*, *ahar* rules, and ways to reduce the load modern life puts on the body. We discuss sleep, food timing, mental state, all of it. I’ve also worked a lot with people dealing with high stress—career burnout, anxiety patterns, overthinking—and my approach there includes Ayurvedic counseling, herbal mind support, breathing routines... depends what suits them. My foundation is built on classical *samhitas*, clinical observation, and actual time with patients—not theories alone. My goal has always been simple: to help people feel well—not just for a few weeks, but in a way that actually lasts. Healing that feels like *them*, not just protocol. That’s what I keep aiming for.

I am an Ayurvedic doctor trained at one of the most reputed institutes (yeah, the kind that makes u sweat but also feel proud lol) where I completed my BAMS with 70%—not just numbers but real grind behind it. My focus during & after graduation has always been on treating the patient not just the disease, and honestly that philosophy keeps guiding me even now. I usually see anywhere around 50 to 60 patients a day, sometimes more if there's a health camp or local rush. It’s hectic, but I kinda thrive in that rhythm. What matters to me is not the number but going deep into each case—reading every complaint, understanding symptoms, prakriti, current state, season changes etc. and putting together a treatment that feels “right” for that person, not just for the condition. Like, I don’t do one-size-fits-all plans. I sit down, make case reports (yup, proper handwritten notes sometimes), observe small shifts, modify herbs, suggest diet tweaks, even plan rest patterns when needed. I find that holistic angle super powerful. And patients feel it too—some who come in dull n restless, over weeks show clarity, skin settles, energy kinda gets back... that makes the day worth it tbh. There’s no shortcut to trust, and i get that. Maybe that’s why patients keep referring their siblings or maa-papa too. Not bragging, but when people say things like “you actually listened” or “I felt heard”, it stays in the back of my mind even when I’m dog tired lol. My goal? Just to keep learning, treating honestly and evolving as per what each new case teaches me. Ayurveda isn’t static—it grows with u if u let it. I guess I’m just walking that path, one custom plan at a time.

Dr. Ravi Chandra Rushi
I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.
