Having a health problem due to an allergy but couldn't find the real one. How to find out or how to solve if affected. I think there is no medicine for allergy in allopathy. I have a wound on the bottom of my left leg, and it started in right leg too.

Allergies can be complex, yet Ayurveda offers a path to address the root cause of such issues by considering your unique constitution (prakriti) and dosha imbalances. The first step is to observe patterns and triggers. Pay attention to when symptoms flare up—whether it’s after consuming certain foods, in particular environments, or during specific times of the year. This can help in identifying the culprits.

In Ayurveda, an allergy may be viewed as an imbalance in doshas, often aggravated by poor digestion (weak agni). Enhancing your digestive fire is crucial. Include spices like ginger, cumin, and fennel in your diet to stimulate digestion and metabolism. Limit consumption of heavy, cold, and oily foods that can dampen agni.

Topical application of turmeric paste might help relieve the wound, as turmeric is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder with water to form a paste and apply gently on the affected area.

A simple home remedy for allergies could be Triphala, an Ayurvedic preparation that supports detoxification. Take it before bed with warm water to promote gentle cleansing of your system.

Regular nasyam (nasal administration) using Anu Taila can also be beneficial as it helps in clearing the nasal passages and may prevent exacerbation of symptoms. This practice is usually done in the morning, instilling 2-3 drops in each nostril.

Ensure you maintain proper hygiene and consult a healthcare provider for any severe or unexplained worsening of symptoms, especially when wounds like on your legs develop without clear reason. Keep the wound clean, and dry, and seek immediate medical assistance if it appears to get infected or worsens over time.
