Dr. Manjula
I am a dedicated Ayurveda practitioner with a deep-rooted passion for restoring health through traditional Ayurvedic principles. My clinical approach revolves around understanding the unique constitution (Prakruti) and current imbalance (Vikruti) of each individual. I conduct comprehensive consultations that include Prakruti-Vikruti Pareeksha, tongue examination, and other Ayurvedic diagnostic tools to identify the underlying causes of disease, rather than just addressing symptoms. My primary focus is on balancing the doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—through individualized treatment plans that include herbal medicines, therapeutic diets, and lifestyle modifications. I believe that healing begins with alignment, and I work closely with my patients to bring the body, mind, and spirit into harmony using personalized, constitution-based interventions. Whether managing chronic conditions or guiding preventive health, I aim to empower patients through Ayurvedic wisdom, offering not just relief but a sustainable path to well-being. My practice is rooted in authenticity, guided by classical Ayurvedic texts and a strong commitment to ethical, patient-centered care. I take pride in helping people achieve long-term health outcomes by integrating ancient knowledge with a modern, practical approach. Through continuous learning and close attention to every detail in diagnosis and treatment, I strive to deliver meaningful, natural, and effective results for all my patients.

To address a blocked nose, Ayurveda looks at the root cause, often a Kapha dosha imbalance. Kapha imbalance may thickens mucus and leads to nasal congestion. Consider making some lifestyle and dietary changes that could help alleviate this issue. Start by keeping your head slightly elevated when sleeping, using an extra pillow to aid sinus drainage. Incorporating steam inhalation into your daily routine can also be beneficial. You can do this by bringing a pot of water to a boil, turning off the heat, and covering your head with a towel to create a tent over the pot. Breathe deeply for about 10 to 15 minutes, ideally adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil for its clearling properties. Diet-wise, avoid dairy products, refined sugars, and cold beverages, as these can aggravate Kapha imbalance and contribute to excess mucus production. Instead, opt for warmth-promoting spices like ginger, cumin, and black pepper in your meals. Drinking warm water throughout the day can also improve your metabolism and help balance Kapha. You might find Pranayama, especially alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana), beneficial for promoting clear airways and calming your mind, which could indirectly improve your focus and ability to speak. Practice this breathing exercise for around 5 to 10 minutes daily, ensuring you're in a quiet, relaxed environment. Include a regular exercise routine - not too intense, but enough to increase circulation! brisk walking or light jogging can be effective. These recommendations should be tailored to find what best fits into your daily life. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's essential to seek professional medical advice, as there could be a need for more specific medical intervention.
