Your symptoms suggest a Pitta imbalance aggravated by internal heat and toxins (Ama). Follow these steps: Dietary Changes: Avoid spicy, oily, and processed foods. Include cooling foods like cucumber, coconut water, and leafy greens. Drink Coriander-Cumin-Fennel Tea daily. Topical Remedies: Apply Neem Paste or Sandalwood and Rosewater mask to reduce redness. Wash face with Kumari (Aloe Vera) juice. Internal Herbs: Manjistha: 1 tsp with warm water to cleanse the blood. Triphala: Take at bedtime for gentle detox. Lifestyle Tips: Avoid direct sunlight; practice calming techniques like Soham meditation. Perform Abhyanga with cooling oils like Brahmi or Coconut oil. With consistent dietary and herbal care, you should see noticeable improvements in 4-6 weeks. For scars, use Kumkumadi Tailam at night.

Dealing with continuous acne and scarring, can be really frustrating, I know. You're not alone in this. Often, these skin issues are a reflection of imbalances in your body, possibly related to your doshas. Firstly, considering your age, vitiated Pitta could be contributing to these heat-related issues on your skin. In Ayurveda, acne is often linked to excess Pitta and sometimes Kapha as well. This can result from dietary choices, stress, or your lifestyle. The key is to calm and balance these doshas, while also promoting healthy skin regeneration. Let's start with some dietary changes. Try reducing spicy, oily, and processed foods. These can exacerbate Pitta. Instead, opt for cooling foods like cucumbers, melons, and leafy greens. Drink plenty of water (at least 8 cups a day) to help flush out toxins, which we call 'ama' in Ayurveda, from your system. Herbal support is also invaluable. Neem and turmeric are great for purifying the blood and reducing inflammation. You could make a paste of neem powder mixed with a little water and apply it on the affected areas once or twice a day. Stress, a hidden culprit, plays a surprisingly big role. Practicing daily meditation or yoga can lower stress levels, positively impacting your skin by balancing hormones and reducing Pitta aggravation. For scarring, massaging with a mixture of coconut oil and turmeric (just a pinch) can promote healing and lighten scars over time. Consistency is key. Avoid harsh chemical products on your skin. Look for gentle, natural cleansers, and remember to keep your skin clean, but not over-scrubbed. Your skin needs time to heal—patience is your friend here. If things feel overwhelming or if you notice no improvement after a few weeks, it might be best to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner directly. They can offer a tailored approach, taking into account your unique prakriti, or constitution. Remember, Ayurveda is all about balance, so treat your body with kindness and patience. It'll pay off!
