I am really struggling with this persistent joint pain in my knees. I am not super old or anything—just in my late 30s—and yet, here I am, having trouble sometimes just getting up from the couch!! It started a few months back after I twisted my knee during a run. I thought it would get better on its own, but no luck. I tried some over-the-counter pain meds, but they only work for a while, and I hate the thought of relying on them too much.
