Thank you for your kind and valuable answer Mam 🙏😊

To address severe hair fall and gaps in your head, it’s crucial to identify any underlying imbalances in your doshas, particularly focusing on balancing Vata and calming Pitta doshas, as these often contribute to hair loss. Begin by incorporating foods that nourish your hair from the inside. You might want to include healthy fats like ghee and coconut oil, as they are both Vata pacifiers and help enhance hair luster and strength. Eating a diet rich in leafy green vegetables like spinach, protein sources like lentils, nuts, and seeds, especially sesame seeds, provide essential nutrients and support hair regrowth. Consider adding amla (Indian gooseberry) into your diet—it’s a powerful hair tonic mentioned in Ayurvedic texts.

Hydration is essential! Drinking warm water throughout the day aids in detoxifying processes and keeping your body in balance. Ayurvedic herbs such as Brahmi and Bhringraj can be taken internally or applied as hair oils to promote hair growth and combat hair loss. They enhance circulation to the scalp, a crucial factor in healthy hair.

Avoid foods that increase Pitta, like spicy food and fried items. They can aggravate hair loss. Minimizing stress through mindfulness practices, such as meditation or yoga, not only maintain hormonal balance but also aids healthy hair growth, as chronic stress zaps your hair health.

Oil your hair regularly with Ayurvedic oils. Massaging your scalp gently with warm oil, like coconut or sesame, at least twice a week enhances blood circulation, strengthen roots, and nourishes the hair shaft. Avoid washing hair with hot water; it strips your scalp natural oils, leading to dryness. Use mild herbal shampoos and minimize the use of hair styling products.

Be gentle with your hair. Avoid tight hairstyles and excessive heat. Pat your hair dry rather than rubbing it with a towel to prevent breakage. With these practices incorporated into your routine, you should see positive changes, but remember that it takes time for hair health to improve substantially, persistence is key.

For addressing hairfall, we need to focus on balancing the doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta, as imbalances in these can lead to hair problems. Supporting Agni (your digestive fire) is key, as well as nourishing the Dhatus (body tissues), particularly the Rasa and Rakta dhatus, which are important for hair health.

First, incorporate foods that pacify Vata and Pitta. Favor warm, cooked meals over raw or cold foods. Include healthy fats like ghee and sesame oil in your diet—they’re good for nourishment. Nuts, especially almonds and walnuts, can nourish the scalp. Green leafy vegetables, yogurt, and seeds like flaxseeds and chia are beneficial too.

Bhringaraj and Amla are beneficial herbs in Siddha-Ayurveda known for promoting hair growth. Create a hair mask by mixing Bhringaraj powder with water and apply it to your scalp once a week. Amla can be consumed as a juice or powder with warm water to build up hair strength from within.

Avoid hot water baths, which can intensify Pitta. Instead, use lukewarm water for hair washing. Limit the use of chemical-laden hair products; they can aggravate doshas leading to more hairfall. Gentle, natural shampoos and conditioners suited to your hair type are best.

Regular scalp massage with warm oil, like sesame or coconut oil, can improve circulation, promoting hair growth and relaxes Vata dosha. Do it once or twice a week for best results. Don’t forget to rinse it off well, as residue could lead to irritation or blockage of follicles.

Try to ensure you get enough sleep and manage stress, as they impact hormonal balance and, subsequently, hair health.

Remember that serious or rapid hair loss may be indicative of underlying health concerns. If there is no improvement or if hair loss is accompanied by other symptoms, it’s vital to consult a healthcare professional promptly for thorough evaluation and support.
