Seeking Advice on Zeolite and Health Issues - #38486

Hello Doctor, I have a high-level of allergies, rheumatism, bones getting softer, and few other health issues too. I came across a video of a guru on YouTube, he was advising on taking 3 drops Zeolite for 7 days and then taking Colloidal Silver and Lugol's Iodine for 7 days after. To kill parasites which causes alot of health issues. Please advise me if this advice is suitable to follow or not. I have also read on Google that Zeolite can cause lung cancer and I'm very about this. Please advise 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Donot follow taking internal medicine with superficial information. All information should be backed with proper research, orelse instead of giving benefits it will cause more harm. For your problem i recommend Tablet Liv-52 1-0-1 after food with water Haridhdhrakhand 1tsp twice daily before food with warm milk Laxadi guggul 1-0-1 after food with water Astiposhak tablet 1-0-0 after food with water Massage your body with sesame oil on winter season and coconut or olive oil during summer season .and expose your self to direct Sun rays during sunrise and sunset time. Avoid sour fermented foods Avoid processed, fast food and street food.

⚠️ Regarding Zeolite, Colloidal Silver, and Lugol’s Iodine

While these are being promoted in some online spaces, they are not part of classical Ayurvedic formulations and lack solid clinical evidence for safety in long-term human use.

👉Zeolite:

Zeolite is a mineral compound often claimed to detox heavy metals,but medical studies do not confirm this.

There is no verified data proving its ability to kill parasites or cure chronic conditions. Hence, it’s not recommended for oral use without strict medical supervision.

👉Colloidal Silver: Repeated use can lead to argyria — permanent bluish-gray discoloration of the skin. It can also affect kidney and liver function with chronic use.

👉Lugol’s Iodine:

Iodine supports thyroid health but excess iodine can actually disturb thyroid function, especially in people with autoimmune tendencies.

Please avoid self-medicating with these substances. They are not classical Ayurvedic detox methods and may cause more harm than benefit, particularly when the immune system and metabolism are already sensitive.

✅AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT

✅INTERNAL MEDICATION

1. Simhanada Guggulu – 2 tablets twice daily after food with warm water. ( Detoxifies Ama and relieves joint pain and stiffness.)

2. Rasnadi Guggulu – 2 tablets twice daily after meals with lukewarm water. ( Excellent for rheumatic pain, inflammation, and Vata-Kapha balance.)

3. Ashwagandha Capsule – 1 capsule twice daily with milk. (Strengthens bones and muscles, reduces fatigue and anxiety)

4. Gandharvahastadi Kashayam – 15 ml with equal water twice daily before meals. ( Improves digestion, clears Ama, and relieves constipation.)

✅ Panchakarma & External Therapies

When feasible, undergo these under expert guidance:

1. Valuka sweda followed by Dashmoola parishekha

2Abhyanga (Oil Massage) with Mahanarayan Taila or Dhanvantaram Taila daily – strengthens muscles and joints.

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN YOUR BODY Your immune system is overactive, attacking harmless substances (allergy) and possibly even your own joints (autoimmune rheumatism) Meanwhile, bone loss or weakness can occur due to nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, or chronic inflammation

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN YOUR BODY In Ayurveda, this pattern is described as -Vata-kapha imbalance-. causes joint pain, stiffness, dryness, cracking, fatigue -Ama (metabolic toxin) accumulation due to weak digestio-> blocks channels, leading to rheumatism and allergies -Asthi dhatu kshaya (weakening of bone tissue)-> causes bone softening and fragility

I am a Senior Ayurveda Physician with more than 28 years in this field — and trust me, it still surprises me how much there is to learn every single day. Over these years, I’ve had the chance to treat over 1 lakh patients (probably more by now honestly), both through in-person consults and online. Some come in with a mild cough, others with conditions no one’s been able to figure out for years. Each case brings its own rhythm, and that’s where real Ayurveda begins. I still rely deeply on classical tools — *Nadi Pariksha*, *Roga-Rogi Pariksha*, proper *prakriti-vikriti* mapping — not just ticking symptoms into a list. I don’t believe in ready-made cures or generic charts. Diagnosis needs attention. I look at how the disease behaves *inside* that specific person, which doshas are triggering what, and where the imbalance actually started (hint: it’s usually not where the pain is). Over the years I’ve worked with pretty much all age groups and all kinds of health challenges — from digestive upsets & fevers to chronic, autoimmune, hormonal, metabolic and degenerative disorders. Arthritis, diabetes, PCOD, asthma, thyroid... but also things like unexplained fatigue or joint swelling that comes and goes randomly.
