Ayurvedic Management Plan 🧴 1. External Care (Soap & Cream) 🔹 Soap: Use any one of these mild, Ayurvedic soaps (avoid chemical or fragrance-heavy ones): Medimix Ayurvedic Classic (green variant) — gentle, cooling Kailas Jeevan Soap — cooling and healing Santoor Sandal & Turmeric Soap — helps lighten marks Khadi Sandalwood or Aloe Vera Soap — mild and moisturizing (Avoid Dove, Pears, Dettol, or any perfumed soaps — they increase dryness and sensitivity.) 🔹 Cream / Face Application: Morning: Mix Kumkumadi Tailam (2–3 drops) + Aloe vera gel (pure) and apply gently on face. → Fades acne marks and balances skin tone. Or use Vicco Turmeric cream (if your skin tolerates it well). Night: Apply Eladi Tailam or Nalparamadi Tailam lightly over face. Leave for 20 minutes, then wash with lukewarm water. → Reduces heat, itching, and pigmentation. (If face feels too oily, apply only 2–3 drops and wipe after 15–20 min.) 🧘‍♀️ 2. Internal Care (Chooranam / Herbal Powders) Take these after consulting an Ayurvedic physician for dosage adjustment: Morning (after food): Avipattikar Chooranam – 1 tsp with warm water. → Balances Pitta, reduces facial heat and acidity. Night (before sleep): Triphala Chooranam – 1 tsp with lukewarm water. → Detoxifies skin, improves digestion and mild constipation. For skin purification: Manjisthadi Kashayam – 15 ml + 45 ml water twice daily before food. → Purifies blood, clears marks, reduces sensitivity. 🥗 3. Diet & Lifestyle Include: Fresh fruits (pomegranate, papaya, apple, watermelon) Buttermilk with roasted cumin Ghee in small amount daily Amalaki (Indian gooseberry) juice or Triphala regularly Avoid: Spicy, fried, sour foods Excess tea, coffee, curd, or non-veg Late nights and stress (increase Pitta) 🪷 4. Weekly Ayurvedic Face Pack Mix: Sandalwood powder – 1 tsp Multani mitti – 1 tsp Rose water – enough to make paste Apply for 15 minutes, wash with cool water. (Use 2–3 times a week.)

For addressing dry, itchy, and sensitive skin along with acne and black marks, Ayurveda suggests a holistic approach. Begin with choosing a mild herbal soap. You may look for a soap formulated with turmeric, neem, or sandalwood, as these ingredients are known for their soothing properties. Turmeric especially can help in reducing inflammation and lightening of acne marks due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Use this soap gently on your skin twice daily and avoid harsh rubbing which can aggravate sensitivity.

For cream, consider using a natural product containing aloe vera and rose water. Aloe vera is cooling and moisturizes the skin, while rose water helps in balancing skin tone and reducing redness. Apply this cream onto your face twice a day, focusing on the affected areas with acne, allowing it to absorb fully.

A suitable chooranam (herbal powder) like Avipattikar Chooranam can be useful to address internal imbalances. It could help manage pitta dosha, which often leads to heat and inflammation in the body, manifesting as heated sensations in your skin. Take it under supervision—ideally, 1 teaspoon with warm water before meals once a day.

Additional lifestyle changes can complement these recommendations. Hydrate well by drinking sufficient water throughout the day. Incorporate cooling foods such as cucumbers, coconut water, and cilantro into your diet. Avoid extremely oily, spicy or processed foods, as well as minimizing exposure to direct sun without proper protection; as they can increase pitta.

Avoid wearing heavy makeup which can congest pores further. Instead, use a simple rice flour and yogurt mask twice a week to aid in reducing acne marks while offering mild exfoliation and hydration.

Always consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting new treatments, to ensure compatibility with your specific constitution and health history.
