Hello Artem, For managing anxiety through Ayurveda maintaining Vata dosha in its optimal state is necessary and good digestion.

Ashwagandha: 500 mg once daily to support stress reduction. Brahmi: 300 mg daily for mental clarity. Chamomile or Tulsi Tea: 1 cup daily for calming effects. Self-Massage (Abhyanga): Use warm sesame oil before showering to ground Vata. Routine: Maintain regular sleep and meal times, and practice gentle yoga or meditation. Note: A proper physical examination is necessary before starting any supplements to ensure safety and correct dosage.

Feeling anxious can be overwhelming, but Ayurveda offers various approaches to help manage anxiety effectively. To balance Vata dosha, which is often associated with nervousness and restlessness, consider incorporating calming herbs like Ashwagandha, Brahmi, and Jatamansi, as these adaptogenic herbs can help reduce stress and promote mental clarity. Focus on consuming warm, nourishing foods such as whole grains, cooked vegetables, and healthy fats like ghee or coconut oil, while avoiding excessive caffeine, sugar, and processed foods that can aggravate anxiety. Establishing a daily routine with regular meal times, sleep patterns, and physical activity can create a sense of stability. Gentle yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises (like Pranayama) can significantly reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. Additionally, practicing Abhyanga (self-massage) with warm sesame oil can calm the nervous system, and using calming essential oils like lavender or sandalwood in diffusers can further enhance relaxation. To tailor these recommendations to your needs, it would be helpful to know more about your specific anxiety symptoms, triggers, and any physical symptoms you may experience, such as sleep disturbances or tension.

Anxiety can be such a tricky companion, huh? In Ayurveda, we try to balance the doshas, 'cuz that’s where a lot of these emotions start. For anxiety, it’s often linked to a Vata imbalance, which gets hyped up by our fast-paced, unpredictable lifestyles. So, grounding that energy is like, the first step.

Start with some warm, nourishing foods—think soups, stews, and foods that’re, um, easy to digest. Avoid cold and raw stuff right now, since they can be aggravating. Sweet, sour, and salty tastes help pacify Vata. Maybe try some cooked grains like rice or oats with a bit of ghee. Nice and calming.

Now, for supplements, Ashwagandha is one that’s, like, super praised in Ayurveda for reducing stress and anxiety. Take it as a powdered root, about a teaspoon mixed in warm milk, ideally in the evening. It’s both rejuvenating and grounding. Brahmi is another excellent herb—it can sometimes help calm the restless mind. Look for it in capsules or as a tea.

Routine is your new best friend! Getting to bed and waking up at the same time each day helps settle Vata. And meditation or pranayama? Total game-changers. Even a few minutes every mornin’—try Anulom Vilom or Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing).

Limit caffeine, it can ramp up the anxiety. Sip on herbal teas—like chamomile or mint—throughout the day instead. Oh, and seriously consider daily self-massage with warm sesame oil. This Abhyanga practice can be deeply relaxing.

If things feel overwhelming, it’s always okay to reach for professional help, and in the meantime, try grounding yourself with these Ayurvedic tips. Life can be chaotic, and sometimes we all just need to pause and take a deep breath. Relax, you got this!
