For managing PAN gastritis and the hepatic cyst, Ayurveda can offer supportive measures aimed at balanced digestion and liver health. Considering Ayurveda’s focus on digestive fire (agni) and dosha balance, implementing dietary and lifestyle changes can be beneficial.

Begin with dietary adjustments to soothe the gastric mucosa and improve digestion. Favoring a sattvic diet, which is light and warm, is very important. Opt for easily digestible foods like cooked vegetables, rice, mung dal, and khichdi. Limit the intake of spicy, fried, or overly sour foods as these can exacerbate gastritis symptoms. Consuming smaller meals more frequently, rather than large meals, may also help in managing gastric load.

Herbs like Amla (Indian Gooseberry), known for its anti-inflammatory and cooling properties, can be quite beneficial. You might consider taking 1-2 teaspoons of Amla juice daily on an empty stomach. Triphala is another classical formulation that supports both digestive health and the liver. Taking 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water at bedtime can facilitate bowel health and detoxification.

For the hepatic cyst, while it’s commonly benign, supporting liver health is critical. Including turmeric in your diet can be beneficial due to its hepatoprotective properties. A cup of warm turmeric milk in the evening can be soothing. Engage in pranayama, particularly Nadi Shodhana and Bhramari, to reduce stress and enhance digestive function.

Hydration is key, make sure you drink ample water throughout the day, but avoid drinking large amounts during meals. Warm ginger tea between meals can boost digestion without aggravating gastritis.

Lastly, regular physical activity, such as brisk walking or light yoga, improves circulation and aids digestion. If symptoms worsen or persist, a follow-up with a healthcare provider is essential to rule out any serious conditions, and they might conduct additional tests or modify your treatment regimen as needed. Remember, each person’s constitution is unique, so adjustments based on personal responses and any current hepatic medications should be handled carefully with professional guidance.
