Hello Thank‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ you for your concern raised here. I completely understand your situation as heavy hair fall is quite alarming and it also happened right after your hair Botox treatment. Anyway, don’t be anxious we will surely assist you out 😊

Understanding Your Problem (Ayurvedic View)

Hair Botox is a misleading name. It is not real botulinum toxin but rather a chemical conditioning treatment having silicones, formaldehyde derivatives, proteins, and heat processing.

Why hair fall after Botox: –The chemicals weaken hair roots (Kesha Moola) –Too much heat injures scalp Rakta & Pitta –An artificially treated hair looks shiny for a while, but the hair is getting dried and deprived of oxygen

After a few months, the hair that is already damaged will break and shed totally

👉 According to Ayurveda, this is an example of Pitta + Vata aggravation along with Rakta dushti, which causes Khalitya (hair fall).

IS THIS HAIR FALL REVERSIBLE ?

✅ Sure, if the hair roots are still alive (which is very probable as it is only 1 year). However, the regimen should be at the root level, not cosmetics

INTERNAL MEDICINE (MOST IMPORTANT) (Hair fall stoppage from roots)

1.Bhringaraj Vati – 1-0-1 after meal is best for nourishing hair roots

2.Amalaki Rasayana – 1 tsp morning on empty stomach Pitta is very well controlled; hair strength is improved

3.Triphala Churna – 1 tsp at bed time with lukewarm water mild detox for scalp & digestion

It really takes 1 month till the first results are visible, not at once.

EXTERNAL TREATMENT (SCALP REPAIR) Oil Massage (2–3 times/week) Use: Bhringaraj Taila Neelibhringadi Taila

👉 Massage gently at night, wash next morning. Herbal Hair Wash Avoid chemical shampoos Use Shikakai–Reetha–Amla powder or natural hair-care products

STOP THESE IMMEDIATELY

❌ Not anymore: Hair Botox / Keratin / Smoothening Heat styling (straightener, curling iron) Tight hairstyles At least 6 months without chemical dyes

HAIR REJUVENATION

INCLUDE Amla (raw or juice) Curry leaves Black sesame seeds Soaked almonds & walnuts Green leafy vegetables Proper protein (dal, paneer, milk if tolerated)

AVOID Overeat spicy or fried food Junk food Very late nights Stress (heavy trigger for post-Botox hair fall)

LIFESTYLE

Sleep before 11 pm Do not wash hair with hot water Protect your hair from sun Do Anulom-Vilom / Bhramari Pranayama practice

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Hair fall decreases after 1–2 months Growth of new baby hairs after 3–4 months Hair volume gets better gradually Hair is naturally shiny (not artificially) Initially, shedding can be going on for a couple of weeks—this is the time when the already damaged hair is being shed, not new hair is lost.

IMPORTANT POINT

The damage from Hair Botox is just temporary and not permanent. With regular Ayurvedic treatment, your hair will be able to get back to normal.

Wishing you a longer, stronger hair again😊 Dr. Snehal ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Vidhate

Hair Botox itself does not enter the body, but it damages, the hair shaft and scalp overtime, especially if chemicals eat, and seal irons were used what you’re facing now with chemical induced hair fall with weak roots and it is , reversible if treated properly

You can start with Bringaraja capsule one capsule twice daily after food This will strengthen your hair roots and reduce hair fall gradually

Amla capsule one capsule once daily after food Helps new air growth and improves air thickness

Triphala churna 1 teaspoon with warm water at night It cleans the system and supports a regrowth from inside

Apply coconut oil mixed with castor oil to the scalp two times a week Massage gently, do not rub heart wash with a mild herbal shampoo

Hair fall after chemical damage, usually reduces in 6 to 8 weeks and new baby hair starts appearing by three months if your consistent

Hi, Thanks for your question

✔ YES — indirectly cause hair fall

Hair Botox does NOT contain botulinum toxin, but it involves: -Strong chemicals -High heat (flat-ironing) -Protein + silicone overload

What actually happened in your case: -Hair shaft got temporarily smooth -Scalp became dry, inflamed, and congested -Hair roots went into Telogen phase (shedding phase)

👉 Once roots are weakened, hair fall continues for months, even after the treatment is over.

2️⃣ Why your hair fall lasted >6 months Because: -Scalp barrier damage -Sebum imbalance -Protein overload (hair became stiff internally)

In Ayurveda: -Pitta + Vata aggravated -Rakta dhatu affected -Keshabhumi (scalp) became ruksha (dry)

3️⃣ Important truth (reassurance) 🔹 This type of hair fall is REVERSIBLE 🔹 Hair follicles are not permanently destroyed 🔹 But you must correct the scalp, not just hair length

4️⃣ WHAT TO DO NOW (PROPER PLAN) 🔹 STEP 1: STOP THE DAMAGE ❌ No keratin / Botox / smoothening ❌ No frequent heat styling ❌ No anti-hair-fall chemical serums

🔹 STEP 2: SCALP-FOCUSED OILING with Bhringraj taila OR Neelibhringadi taila

How to apply: -3 times per week -Light massage with fingertips -Keep for 1–2 hours only

🔹 STEP 3: WASH ROUTINE Shampoo 2–3 times/week Use mild, sulfate-free shampoo

Avoid very hot water

🔹 STEP 4: INTERNAL SUPPORT (SAFE & EFFECTIVE)

1). Amalaki (Amla) Churna Dose: 3 g daily With warm water after meals ✔ 2).Bhringraj Churna or Capsule 500 mg twice daily 3). Iron / B12 check (VERY IMPORTANT) Even if you “feel fine”, post-chemical hair fall often unmasks deficiencies. 👉 If possible, check: Hb Ferritin B12 TSH

5️⃣ DIET CHANGES (DON’T SKIP) ✔ Protein daily (dal, paneer, curd) ✔ Soaked almonds (5) + dates (2) ✔ Ghee 1–2 tsp/day ✔ Avoid crash dieting

Thanks , Follow up after 21 days

Hair fall post-Botox treatment can be concerning, but there are some ayurvedic strategies you may find helpful. Primarily, consider your dosha - Vata imbalance often leads to hair fall. Focus on a Vata pacifying lifestyle and diet. Start by including nourishing, warm and moist foods. Think stews, soups and foods cooked in ghee. A teaspoon of sesame oil before meals can help to balance Vata.

Consider regular scalp massage, known as Shiroabhyanga, with oils like bhringraj or amla. These oils nourish the scalp, strengthening the hair roots and promoting growth. Try to warm the oil slightly and apply it onto your scalp in a circular motion for about 15 minutes. Leave it on for a few hours at least, wearing a shower cap can enhance absorption.

Herbs like Brahmi and Ashwagandha also support hair health. You might mix Brahmi powder with yogurt and apply it as a hair mask once a week. Or take Ashwagandha in powdered form, about a half teaspoon with warm water, every evening. This can help reduce stress - a known factor for hair fall.

Don’t overlook daily routine, sleeping early and avoiding excessive screen time is crucial. Stress management is vital as stress can exacerbate hair loss. Engage in activities like yoga or meditation, known for calming the mind and body.

Ensure proper hydration - drink enough water throughout the day. Keep away from excessive caffeine and processed foods, they can aggravate Vata.

Lastly, it’s important you talk to a healthcare professional, if the hair fall continues or worsens to ensure there’s no underlying health issues. Remember, Ayurveda is about balance, so holistic approach considering diet, lifestyle, and overall wellness is key.

HELLO,

Hairfall after Botox treatment is commonly seen when the scalp and hair follicles get stressed due to chemicals, heat sealing, repeated straightening, or blockage of hair roots Since your hairfall is continuing for more than 6 moths, Ayurveda considers this as Khalitya/Keshapata, mainly due to pitta aggravation with Vata imbalance affecting the scalp (Twak and romakupa)

-Hair botox contains chemicals-> pitta prakopa -Heat and sealing-> dryness -chemical coating blocks follicles-> poor nourishment of hair roots -Result-> excessive hairfall, weak roots, dryness , dull hairs

TREATMENT GOALS -pacify pitta and vata -cleanse scalp channels -nourish hair roots -promote new hair growth

INTERNAL MEDICATIOS

1) BRINGARAJ GHAN VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =best herb for hairfall, strengthens roots, reduces pitta

2) AMALAKI CHURNA= 1/2 tsp twice daily with warm water =cooling, anti hairfall, improves hair thickness

3) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with warm water at night =detoxifies gut-> directly reduces hair fall

4) ASHWAGANDHA CAPSULES= 1 cap at night =controls stress related hairfall, improves nourishment

CONTINUE MEDICINES FOR 3-4 MONTHS for visible improvement

EXTERNAL THERAPIES

A) WEEKLY OIL MASSAGE = 2-3 times/week -Neelibringadi taila -ksheerbala taille if dryness and burning -slightly warm oil -massage gently for 10-15 min -leave overnight for minimum 1 hour -wash next morning with mild herbal shampoo

B) HAIR WASH -use mild herbal shampoo -wash 2 times/week only -avoid hot water-> use lukewarm or normal water

c) HAIR PACK= once weekly -amla powder= 1 tsp -bhringaraj powder= 1 tsp -aloe vera gel =sufficient Apply on scalp and hair-> keep 30 min-> wash

DIET -cow milk+ghee= builds Ojas, nourishes dhatu -black sesame seeds= asthi dhatu enhancer -soaked almonds(5-6)= omega 3+ protein -fresh amla(or juice)= rasayana, anti-pitta -moong dal khichdi= easily digestible -curry leaves(raw/chutney)= rich in iron and vitamin c -dates, figs, raisins= rasa dhatu replenishment

AVOID -spicy, fermented, fried , junk food -late night meals -overconsumption of tea, coffe, carbonated drinks -alcohol, smoking

LIFESTYLE + DAILY ROUTINES

MORNING ROUTINE -Wake before 6 AM= aligns with brahma muhurtha if possible

-GANDUSHA(oil pulling) with sesame oil= removes ama from head and neck

-NASYA= instill 2 drops of ANU TAILA in each nostril every morning- clears srotas, enhances hair nourishment

-SHIROABHYANGA(Hair oiling)- calms vata, strengthens follicles

-LIGHT YOGA- enhances circulation to scalp

HAIR WASH -use herbal decoctions- shikakai, Geetha, amla, powder boiled and filtered -avoid chemical shampoo, hot water -wash 2-3 times/week max

YOGA ASANA -Adho much svanasana(downward dog)= increases scalp blood flow -Sarvangasana= stimulates thyroid, nourishes head region -Shirshasana= direct blood flow to scalp -Ustrasana, Matsyasana= opens up chest and throat, affects hormonal balance

PRANAYAM -Bhramari= calms mind, improves oxygen to hair roots -Anulom vilom= balances vata- pitta -Sheetali/sheetkari= pitta shamak

MEDITATION -daily 15 mins of Trataka(candle gazing)+ Dhyana can help hormonal and mental factors

SPECIAL HIAR DECOCTION BOIL- 1 tsp bhringaraj, 1 tsp brahmi, 1/2 tsp yashtimadhu, 3 cups water-> reduce to 1 cup->drink daily AM or PM

EXPECTED RESULTS -1 MONTH= hairfall reduces gradually -2-3 MONTHS= roots become stronger -3-4 MONTHS= new hair growth visible

Your hairfall after botox is reversible with proper Ayurvedic care Avoid further chemicals, follow internal medicines, oil therapy, and diet strictly

AYURVEDA TREATMENT WORKS SLOWLY BUT PERMENENTLY

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU
