Frequent Urination and High Blood Sugar Concerns - #48866

Client_a3ffed

For the past 6 months, I have been facing frequent urination about once every hour. As soon as I drink even half a glass of water, I have to go to urinate within an hour. For about 6 months my lifestyle has been hectic. I have to work during the night and often get a little sleep. It is an obligation and I can't help it. My weight is also about 102kg. Because of an old ligament injury I cannot walk much. Today I got my fasting sugar checked which came out to be 217. I am worried alot. Is there any way in Ayurveda to control it? Please guide me what should I do.

Hlo, Diagnosis (Ayurvedic): Madhumeha (Prameha – Type 2 Diabetes) Modern Notes: Fasting sugar 217 mg/dL, polyuria, obesity, sedentary lifestyle Internal Medications: Karela (Momordica charantia) juice – 15 mL orally, 30 minutes before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Duration: 1 month. Helps reduce blood sugar. Gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre) powder/tablet – 250 mg orally after breakfast. Duration: 1 month. Supports insulin function. Methi (Fenugreek) seeds – 1–2 tsp soaked overnight, take in the morning on an empty stomach. Improves glucose tolerance. Amla (Emblica officinalis) churna – 3–5 g orally in the morning. Antioxidant and kapha balancing. Dalchini (Cinnamon) powder – ½–1 tsp orally before meals. Supports sugar metabolism. Dietary Advice: Avoid sweets, refined flour, and sugary drinks. Include high-fiber foods such as leafy vegetables, millets, and pulses. Eat small, frequent meals instead of large meals. Avoid late-night eating. Lifestyle & Exercise: Ensure at least 6 hours of sleep per night. Gentle seated exercises, stretching, and upper-body resistance exercises due to leg injury. Walk within pain limits of the injured leg. Sip water slowly; avoid drinking large amounts at once. External Therapy - Abhyanga with Mahanarayan oil, daily 10–15 minutes. Improves circulation and reduces stress. Shirodhara / Nasya with herbal decoction, 2–3 times/week (optional). Supports sleep and stress management. Monitoring & Follow-Up: Monitor blood sugar at home if possible. Check weight weekly. Follow every 2–4 weeks for dose adjustment. Emergency Warning: Seek immediate medical attention if you experience nausea, vomiting, excessive weakness, confusion, or rapid breathing. Note: Ayurvedic therapy is supportive. At fasting sugar 217 mg/dL, urgent allopathic treatment is essential; do not rely on herbs alone. Tq Tq
